"Rename your folder to Joomla and then you are prompted with Open"......this did not happen, I renamed the folder after clicking on Download to C Drive and the only option remained 'Save'.......help

when you saving the joomla file it's imortant that you save it to C Drrive - wamp - ww

The folder where you installed wamp(How to Install Joomla on your PC or Laptop Part 1) as "joomla" not the long name "Joomla_1.6.1-Stable-Full_Pack­age"

After that just follow Gordon and everythig will work fine.

Gordon, I just have to thank you for your awesome videos. With your help and guidance they made what was sure to be a nightmare into a piece of cake. Although a big piece of cake all the same. i downloaded the latest version of joomla wich is 1.5.15 full package.

i unzipped the file, got a lot of folders except the wamp is missing.

it should be working also on version 1.5.14,

i guess.
