I don't even understand why they let Fedor fight this guy... AA is nowhere near Fedor and didn't deserved to fight him... and was beaten with one punch... lol!
I didn't just hear Roach say Fedor can't fight going backwards. I know he is a boxing trainer and all, but I have seen numerous times that Fedor moved backwards while changing angles and still being on the offensive.
very true, his training videos also show him punching while moving backwards in his shadowboxing. always ending in that weird but cool looking counter punch.
Arlovski does have a good chance training his boxing with Freddy Roach. Of course, Fedor hasn't lost legitimately to anyone in his MMA career, but this one could be interesting. Everybody assuming Fedor to win are being very closed-minded, but that's probably how this match will go..
if frank mir can finish big nog, then i dont think anyone with half a brain can count arloski out. personally i think it'll be a great wrestler that'll eventually beat fedor, and i think fedor has the upper hand going into this fight, but AA def has the speed to last more than 36 secs, and it'll be a much more entertaining fight than fedor's last one.
thats true, id be lying if i said i thought it was the same nog fighting mir as it was fighting fedor. nog looked tired, out of shape, threw no punches, and looked over it before the bell rang. but my point is that weve seen a whole bunch of upsets, and AA (whilenot the number 1 contender to take fedor out) def has a chance.
agreed. arlovski has a real chance and most people seem to rank him 2 or 3.
on the nog point. i watched final conflict yesterday when fedor and nog went to a no contest, Nog looked SO much more young and energetic back then. you cant even compare him now to then. just look at his face, he has aged alot over those 4 years.
Well let's see, at the time Sylvia fought Fedor he won 1 fight out of his last 3 and that one being against Brandon Vera, a light heavy-weight fighter, and even that only by decision. He's pretty much clueless on the ground which is why 80% all his losses came from submissions, and most of his wins came from keeping his opponents at a distance with his long jabs to drag out a lame victory against unknown fighters.
Yes the Arlovski knock-out was impressive, I'll give him that(fluke?), but then again in case you didn't know Arlovski is known to have a weak chin. And finally the UFC dropped him, what does that tell you? That is why I think Sylvia wasn't a real test. If you disagree, indicate why, don't just flame

It tells me that Dana White does not know how to keep his fighters happy. Arlovski left the UFC because Dana didn't want to pay him the money he deserved. Arlovski was the #1 contender when he left the UFC.

Tbh I think this will be fedor's first real test in a very long time, wouldn't be surprised if Arlovski takes this one by knock out.
BigGee614 3 years ago
How wasn't the Sylvia fight a real test?
- Former UFC HW champ
- 24-5 record
- Weighs more than fedor
- Taller than fedor
Faustuss1 3 years ago
It was Tim fucking Sylvia. That's why it wasn't a test.

and? Sylvia knocked Arlovski twice ,shows just how little you know.
