  • One of the best ones was the one with Lloyd Bridges as a SWAT leader gone nuts!

  • Police Story can now be seen on RTN(retro tv) Monday - Friday Nights at 9:00 P.M. check their website for city, state, (days and times might be diffrent in your area).

  • My gosh........ this show ROCKS! Just watched a Jan-Michael Vincent episode tonight on Retro TV. He was promoted to the S.W.A.T. team.

  • Coming to DVD in Spet. 6 DVD set cant wait :)

  • @thugmentalitymusic Season one is being released Sept. 2011! I've only seen clips but I'm buying this DVD! Released by Shout! Factory.

  • THIS COLLECTION NEED TO BE ON DVD

  • Vic and Don kicked ASS in this show. I only wish they could bring something this good and this real back to TV today.

  • Dandy Don was on this show !!!

  • Vic is the MAN!!!

  • Ed Asner was great in this show. I remember an episode where he took a rookie keener on patrol and broke all the rules, let the wife beater off, destroyed the black and white, scared the kid half to death... just raised hell. It was awesome!

  • @dogterd He was Mary Richards cantankerous boss Lou Grant.

  • Never seen this show but it looks excellent !!!!

  • Watch Vic in Combat! re-runs. He was the best--and a great director too!

  • Matt Perry's dad.

  • love those 70's shows and the music! great tv in those days...

  • wow! I really loved that series.

  • Very Well Acted

  • The producers of Police Story had a great deal of respect for cops. I think alot of the shows episodes were based on real cases. Jerry was the man! Great opening theme.

  • Police Story was absolutely one of the best 70's cop shows! I wish some company would release the series on DVD...

  • @Harry44Callahan2 Its know on RTV check your local area for viewing

  • I've saw this years ago on A&E, and it was great. Vic Morrow is great as the hard-boiled vice detective Sgt. Joe LaFrieda. They just don't make gritty police dramas like this anymore. Police life is portrayed realistically IMO.

Vic Morrow sure could play hard-ass characters like no other. If "The Breakfast Club" had been made in the 70's, he'd have been my pick for Mr. Vernon, and Danny Bonaduce would've been John Bender....I think those two could have a vicious rivalry, so to speak.

  • hey, its ed asner!

  • You can say what you may! I think Vic Morrow was a talented actor and man. He was a cuddly and loveable person, what I like to believe! I didn't know him personally. I was only about 10 years old when this fabulous man died. I was born on June 13, 1972. So, I wasn't old enough to know how to go about meeting an actor or someone like that. And the time I wasn't a Vic Morrow fan. I sorry I didn't meet him then!!!!

  • Ed Asner appears as well. He was from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He was the cantankerous Lou Grant and it shows.

  • Does anybody know where I can get this series on DVD?

One of my all time favorites!

  • Vic left us too soon.

  • Superb!

    Vic Morrow rules.

    And so does Jerry Goldsmith!

  • Vic Morrow at his dynamic best!
