@TheDavenorave ... das ist nicht von SaMo :-D das ist ein altes schwedischen Lied, das beide Bands gesungen haben...jeder auf seine Weise :-D Ausprache ist natürlich bei Garmana besser, weil halt schwedisch ... aber die version von Samo hat natürlich mehr pepp

There is no "original version" of this song, because song is an old medieval Balad available in 17 different versions. It is about a werewolf chasing a pregnant "Virgin" to gain access to her fetus. She tries to offer werewolf gaver but fails to persuade him to let her live. In Swedish folklore werewolf break the cursed if he drinks a fetal heart blood. In some versions succeed virgin betrothed to save her, but in this version he will be too late.

Ich finde es schade, dass es hier keine deutschen Übersetzungen mehr für Garmarna-Lieder gibt. Dabei ist ihre größte Fan-Gemeinde in Deutschland. Und gerade bei vielen mittelalterlichen Worten versteht man das Englisch einfach nicht.

von der melodie her finde ich das von saltatio besser, aber gesanglich das von garmarna(da versteh ich auch was da gesungen wird) ich hab das problem mit schwedisch das ich es verstehe wenn es gesprochen/gesungen wird aber nicht sprechen kann(weil ich ich schäme und angst habe das ich was falsch ausspreche). ich kann auch das meiste auf schwedisch lesen aber das tut nicht zu sache :) endlich weis auch ich was da gesungen wird ^__^
