  • Thumbs up if you noticed how the room number changed from 402 in part 1 to 404 here.

  • I barely remembered this one sooooo sad

  • Oh, I ❤ snoopyyyyy!!!!

  • Hehe Snoopy

  • they should this at my school and everybody was really depressed after that.

  • THIS IS SOOOO SAD SOB SOB TEAR TEAR

  • Jaws actor Roy Scheider died of Multiple myeloma 4 years ago in 2008. He was 75 years old.

  • @PrincessEli82 wait he died christ where have i been

  • @RussianZetaWolf I don't know. The first Jaws came out in 1975 before you and I were both born. He's been dead for 4 years.

  • My next door neighbor Keith has pancreatic cancer and he may or may not lived. I got the news from my mother today. I feel bad for him.

  • Poor Janice

  • omg sad i wanted to cry

  • Aww this reminds me of the video of Janet.she was soo afraid of dying and wanted to find a perfect match for her bone marrow ... She had leukemia too

  • Poor Janice

  • If all grownups have that horn-sounding voice then why did the woman's voice on the intercom/speaker sound normal?

  • and further lucy is a bit of a bigot

  • thank you charlie brown for teaching us about cancer and how to deal with it. I cried after seeing this episode.

  • this makes me wonder what lucy would do if schroeder got cancer...

  • this is so sad well happy ending i watched all the parts

  • Bonemarrow anythings are probably the most excruciating thing you can experience. That and massive cell death, especially of the muscles.

  • log in now

  • nope

  • I dont have cancer but I do have flaming AIDS I wish I had lukemia than AIDS

  • @mryjn420090

Guess you will seize to exist soon. It's okay to spent your last days selfishly.

  • :``(

  • This is sooooo sad. I feel sooooo sorry about her. ):

  • I encourage everybody to watch this video:

    watch?v=zaWV-4LmBeg

  • as a therapist Lucy should be more understanding

  • @NightfallIV How true that is.

  • the song they sing when linus and charlie brown are leaving the hospital is soooooo sad

  • This video was played with snowflakes!

  • I have leukemia :(

  • @xxHATEDxxLOVEDxx I also had a blood cancer. I had lymphoma....

  • @adkgirlsince01

    what was chemo like?

    did bone marrow test hurt?

  • @saphireroze001 Well this was made a long time ago. Back then they didnt use the sleepy stuff they use now a days. So no that didnt hurt, but it dose leave a scare. And the chemo was not fun. It made you itch like mad, your face would swell up, and you had horrible mood swings. You need to take a lot of pills to. But now a days for getting the chemo, you get it in something called life port. Thats what you get your weekly blood work and the chemos in. It makes it much easier then a IV in the arm

  • @adkgirlsince01

    was cancer painfull too?

i had a teacher who died from lung cancer.

the doctor though she was a survivor, but i guess the cancer was progressive.

  • @saphireroze001 Depending on the kind and when they catch it yes. They caught mine at stage 3, so it was hurting super bad. It felt like there was knifes in my side. Im sorry about your teacher. And if your intersted, I do have a video of my cancer journey on my page. It shows some of the other side effects in the pictures and stuff.

  • @adkgirlsince01

you were at stage 3 and you survied?

    incredible!

  • @saphireroze001 Yep! Thank you! It was hard though, I was on Chemo for a year, and I needed to take over 100 pills in just 5 days *shudders*

  • @adkgirlsince01

when my grampy had prostate cancer he only had chemo for six months.

and my nanna survived cancer 3 times.

  • @adkgirlsince01

Still, surviving it makes the horror worth it. If / when I get cancer I hope I have that kind of strength, chemo is not for the meek.

But then again, you do not have a choice, if you want to live.

  • ...I hate Lucy so much... even before I saw this I hated her, but now...

  • Ps wheres linuses blanket?!?!?!

  • @Richaverezrocks Well, they dont allow Linuse's blanket in school or the hospital I think or either that. He just didnt bring it.

  • @Richaverezrocks I think they also wanted to make Linus seem a little more adult for this.

  • @Richaverezrocks Curiously, around the time this special was made, Schulz stated that Linus had outgrown his blanket and seldomly appeared on the strip after that. I think it doesn't appear here because he's acting more maturely than in any other special.

  • Omg. My dad just got released from the hospital woth lung cancer

  • I Luv Yah Linus, keep on acting like tht and great stuff will come to u in life. this teached me alot. to see tht little girls beautiful silky, golden hair offf, hurt me

  • this episode, prepares u for the worst, it also tells how many deal with cancer each year and day, I love this episode but it sad in the process seeing someone suffer.

  • I use to have cancer

  • auf deutsch?

  • "no thank you, i don't wanna catch your crabbiness"

high five for awesome comebacks, linus

  • @benjamillion HIGH FIVE11111111

  • @benjamillion I know, go Linus!

  • i cried :(

  • "ARE YOU GOING TO DIE?!"

  • ARE YOU GOING TO DIE?!

  • I would fucking murder lucy right then and there

  • i saw an error, when they first visited her. the room was 402, but when they revisited, it was room 404

  • I had a friend in primary school who was diagnosed with leukaemia, he passed away 2 years after he was diagnosed (5 years ago). This episode really reminds me of him, cause I didn't really know what leukaemia was back then lol, I thought it was just a cold :/

  • Awww, I Love This Show (:

  • The sister's a bitch

  • @InsaneKill97 i agree

  • I wish cancer is cured.

  • @ukhistorian As long as Corporate Greed continues its hold on health & medicine, that may never happen.

  • I can watch this episode each day. It's very moving and deals with a serious situation.

  • "you get better, and I'll push you on the swings forever!"

  • having cancer is really deep for peanuts!!!!!!!!!

  • I had no idea Charlie Brown ever dealt with such issues as this. I only know Charlie Brown from their holiday specials. I have a new found respect for the show.

  • @IamNixon I Know, I'd Love to see a Kid's show Now-a-days be This Ballsy

  • @Yasuda9000

Charles M Schulz based Lucy on his ex wife

  • goddamn it Pandora, Why'd ya have to open that fucking box?! You could've just left it alone like Zeus told ya but NOOOO! None of this shit would have to happen if you just left it alone! (i'm just messin with ya guys; i'm not greek)

  • Man oh man!!! I went out yesterday and brought MW3! AMAZING GAME!! love it to bits!! but my xbox live subscription ran out. I was so pissed that I had to go out and get a new one!

then I sat down and watched this episode. somehow my problems don't seem all that important any more.

  • @kdreamland Was it REALLY necessary to put CoD on a Peanuts episode!? Its bad enough it being plastered on Crash Bandicoot & Mario pages...

  • @kdreamland No-one here gives a toss about the repetitive tripe that is CoD. This is a film raising awareness about cancer so have some bloody foresight and show some sensitivity instead of comparing having a terminal illness to your stupid Xbox Live subscription running out, for God's sake.

  • @TheMonochromeBird yeah, reading is not your strength. I said I was angry when I had no xbox live, then I watched this episode and realised that my problems weren't so big after all. that's what I said. I'm not comparing this to my xbox live running out, I'm basically saying that whatever little 'problems' I go through every day, something like this makes me realise how much I take for granted.

But you didn't really read my comment at all did you?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMonochromeBird you sent me a message? but it's not on here. so to answer your points, i think it shows the depth of humbling, and makes for a bigger realisation when you compare the mundane to the major. And you really shouldn't get so upset just because of the word COD or xbox. what if I said I was playing them while in the hospital?

    Sorry if you got offended.

  • @kdreamland Oh, it's fine, I overreacted. A friend of mine lost her mother to cancer, you see, but that's hardly your fault. Also, not trying to sound scathing here, but since when can you play game consoles in hospitals? Mobile phones are banned but you can have games consoles? Wow, it's been a while since I've been to hospital.

  • No, you can keep it. I don't want to catch your crappyness.

  • Lucy is such an insensitive bitch, I'm glad Linus stood up to her, but I was hoping he would push her while he was at it.

  • 6:50 SUSSY GOT PWNED!!!!!!!

  • but it's gonna make me better <3

  • Lol, sorry for being dumb, but in the first part they went into room 402, in this part they went into room 404 :P

  • @GroverKent

I remember reading that they intended this one to have some comedy as well as some drama. So as a result of having had a fairly"heavy" scene before this one was put in for some comic relief. And that it did. Great set up with the line by Linus and when we see Dr. Snoopy and his dietary choices there is nothing to do but laugh.

  • @paulsonj72 Right, you have a point, I like the balance of seriousness, and light-hearted moments in this special: I mean, that's really what the world of Charlie Brown was all about... heart.

  • charlie brown you need to MAN THE FUCK UP

  • @TH3xM3DIC

Is being a man being not able to express your emotions?

  • What's the song called that they play when Linc is walking down the street and who's it by?

  • @ChristionGirl45 farther along i don't know who made it

  • ...why am I crying? :(

  • edd from eddsworld has leukemia too

  • What a mature story line....

  • Am I the only one who noticed that they changed the room number?

  • This reminds me of that one episode of that anime, Ojamajo Doremi

Doremi met a girl in a hospital with cancer, but... instead that episode ended sadly. D: it was still very touching.

And I'm sincerely sorry for those suffering throgh this. Never give up hope you will get well, and that one day there will find a cure for cancer. :)

  • Lucy is a serious cunt in this episode!

  • OMG!! its that an adult speaking at 2:38 ??? AMAZING o__O

  • Woodstock is the chiz

  • This makes me cry every time

  • It is. This is used to teach kids about cancer.

  • CANCER!!??? I THOUGHT THIS WAS A KIDS CARTOON GOOOD GRIEF! *passes out*

  • @GhettoDiner Because kids never get cancer ever and it's definitely not something that should be discussed in public lest kids actually start to understand some of the realities of the world around them.

  • this video makes me weak...

  • 7:48 ROFL

  • 4:50= about to cry

    6:08=LFMAO

    6:52=OOH SHIT!

  • Comment removed

  • Are you going to die GOOD GREIF CHARLIE BROWN WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT! Ha but this is really sad

  • this is sooooooo sad i cant beleive it pooo i feel really bad for her even though she is not reel

  • Is it just me, or is Janice the only nice girl in this special? Sally just whines about school, and Lucy is just a total jerk to Linus and Janice.

  • Maybe some people think it's kind of harsh to confront kids with topics like this.

In my opinion this certain movie is quite important for kids to learn about the harsh realities in life. Yes, people do get cancer and it sucks that we can't do very much about it in in most cases.

It may bring a tear or two upon your eyes but after all it makes you cherish life more and not take your health for granted, that's probably the most important lesson you'll ever get.

  • Wow, I remember watching this many, many times, I just never understood till now.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:42 the only adult who doesn't say all that wan wan wan crap.

  • snif

  • This show was educational in a way, it had depth and beauty to it. Its too bad this show isn't on TV anymore

  • I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 4 years old. I was diagnosed cancer free in october 1996. Today i'm studying medicine, and one day hoping to help and treat kids with cancer. I love this episode because it helps people and espacially kids to understand cancer.

  • @TheCamamaka I am so glad you are Cancer free! Sometimes I think people have to go through experiances because their role in life is to help others. What you want to do is a nobel and wonderful thing, we need more people like you who want to help others in this world. God bless you!

  • @TheCamamaka What super news, I wish you all the best for your future studies xx

  • @TheCamamaka God bless you.

  • @TheCamamaka yea srry about ur cancer bro nice speech

  • @TheCamamaka I don't know how to tell you this but if you do some research you will learn the truth. There are cures for Cancer. The Medical Industrial Complex company's would lose billions of dollars if they cured these illness instead of continuous expensive medical treatment. If you are serious try to expose this to save lives.

  • @carven2004eca I've heard that rumour from my step-dad, who has never thought any good would behold our futures. Even I'm a sceptic to those new medical practices.

In fact, my dad believes that there may be also a cure to the common cold, but nowadays, companies put money before progress. Look at media nowadays, & you can practically see the 'money before breakthrough' being put into it...

  • This movie came out the same year I was diagnosed with leukemia. It really helped me understand what was happening to me

  • @Bears08 Does leukemia hurt?

  • @cauhuule

I had pain in my right knee, that's how it started. The treatments were worse thn the leukemia itself though.

  • @Bears08 Wow, ! and your still here to tell about it! Awesome!

  • @Bears08 oh im so sorry that must be scary

  • @6:52 BURN!!

  • seeing this reminds me so much of Boey.

  • I love the symbolism in this movie

Linus: stands for the kids who are going to try to understand children with cancer, still befriend them, and treat them no different

Charlie: is a friend of support in this movie. Everyone needs support

Lucy: stands for the group of kids who judge before they really know and doesn't make them bad

Janice: stands for the kids who get cancer but still retain that spark of Hope.

God bless them all. Keep them innocent,

  • Poor Linus : He misses Janess. He has a crush on her and wants her to be cancer free. Poor Janess : SHE'S IN THE HOSPITAL WITH CANCER! (As if that one wasn't obvious.) :'( Saddest Charlie Brown Movie ever.......I actually cried. :'(

  • Give her your blanket, Linus! Oh wait, you don't HAVE it anytime in this movie!!

  • I see everday this fighting spirit in kids that are in pediatrics of Lisbon's Cancer Hospital all them say: i goon be cure, gonna win... and they always win even in our hearts

  • (Sobs loudly)

  • so sad :'(

  • Am I the only one who thinks that Lucy CAN be forgiven?!!!

  • The UK could learn a mod or two from shows like this. According to the news a few weeks ago, the UK is one of the worst countries in terms of cancer treatment. But stuff like this practically never play here...

  • @PuuurfectSushi thank god that would be soo sad :)

  • the song made my sister cry

  • last time he went to room 402, now 404?

  • Why do all the adults sound like Chewbacca?

  • Lucy is such a...uh!!!

  • i luv how the adults talk "woompwompwoop"

  • soo does janice die in the end?

  • GOD BLESS jANICE SHE IS A BRAVE SWEET LITTLE ANGEL!

and because of her bravery she pulled through quite well.....eeerrrmmm sorry dident mean to ruin the movie for others UGH! >.<

  • @LordZacknafien Yes she is.

  • @PrincessEli82 *hugs* n_n

*gives you a cookie and a juicebox* your awesome!

  • @legomanh i'm happy for you kid! :) the best gift what you ever can get is happy and healthy life! bless you!

  • Linus (to Lucy): No thank you, I don't wanna catch your crabbiness. Good call, she was being a little beyotch. ;)

  • That's a really smart kid.

  • Linus will push her on those swings FOREVER.

  • Does Linus and Janice like each other? Not as a friend but as girlfriend and boyfriend!

  • Linus should've taken the glass of milk and poured it over Lucy's head.

  • lucy is such a bitch!!!..she has no heart no wonder Schroeder dont like her nd he never will like cuz she is a bitch to everyone she is around. She wont be sayin all of dat if she had cancer

  • Lucy is such a bitch...

  • @URFTBOUND4LIFE so is sally

  • wow...Snoopy's food bowl is Huuuuge

  • poor janice

  • Lol... Snoopy's great!

  • Why would Charlie Brown wanna eat cafeteria food?!

  • since when does chemo NOT hurt?... I once heard chemotherapy was like trying to light a match by nuking your whole house

  • @bluecatky I'm sure she was just confused. It's quite common, you know.

  • @GreatAuntCayce I can honestly assume that she said that out of fear.

  • I love how the hospital's intercom is the only adult voice we hear in the episode.

  • Linus, you forgot your book!

  • This I so touching. I just lost my grandma to cancer :'(

  • i was wachiing this movie in school and i was try very hard not to cry. it was very hard to keep in the tears but when i blink my maskcara ran down my cheek it was very embarissing :-!

  • my dads uncle tony died of cancer it was the size of a football nd it was on his stomach
