@thsma2009 This show originally premiered in London in 1999 for the live taping for the dvd, they were in London for a long time before making it to Broadway. So the original london cast means, these are the performers in the video by PBS. Over the run of the show from London to New York people were replaced.

Aah, I love seeing behind-the-scenes stuff like this.

I saw Blast in London, and therer were signs up saying they were recording that night. Then I went to the States on holiday, and one night in the hotel they were showing it on cable! :D

I remember seeing "Blast!" on tv and I was so excited. Seeing marching and on a stage with lighting, effects, and so on. It made me long for my colorguard days. The show was amazing live. I can't wait to see it again.

Y'all's some talented peeps. :D I would love to be half this good some day. I am currently in a high school band with 26...yes...26 winds. One tuba, 6 trumpets (myself included) three mellophones and one alto sax...among others...watching Blast! is an inspiration to any high school player that has any sort of interest in what they are doing...truly amazing...watching you on DVD, I was compelled to clap at the TV, knowing that you couldn't possibly hear me. It's just that good.
