The singer is telling us that the world is mad, but she isn't. A smooth, even tone would have been best, like what you did in the beginning. 'Mad World' is a sad song and sad songs don't have screaming in them. And, seriously, stop making faced while you sing. Your a SINGER, not an actress. You express what you feel through your words and tone, not your face.
