I really like the arrangement - the chord sequence and melody. In fact its all brilliant - and Cleo Laine sings it perfectly really adding to the tune.
The ending is like Easy Rider and Vanishing Point. Its weird how movies in the late 60s had to end in destruction and death of the protagonist. I guess it reflects the bleak era it was made in .
Im still finding out the reason for this suspicious happenings as most movies are surely availabled on either mobile or PC besides the movies on Alain Delon on youtube!weird, huh?I will never give up!thanks for the vid anyway!
This version by Cleo Lane was never used in the film (Only the instrumental version) Such a shame. It could have been used on the end credits. The film ozzed class and has not dated over the years but the awful scenes of Marriane on the Harley sat bolt upright taking corners made me smile but that's part of the charm. It's about time GOAMC was remastered for DVD or even special cinema screenings as part of the 60s revival.
No it is not a vertical twin -- it is a Harley V-twin. A NorBsa does appear in the movie (when Alain Delon is teaching her to ride) but that is not shown in this video.
I guess someone´s smiling and getting into the past years of his/her own life at the very moment of that era of struggle for hapiness and freedom...
Happy they lived that beautiful moments :)

Greatest film of all time. It really captures an era and the mind of a young woman on the edge.

She's actually on an old Norton. The bike is a vertical twin, not an American V-Twin.
