And if u really want to sit down and think about it, Keggs and Eggs is celebrated downtown where the College of Saint Rose is at. The University at Albany in no way promotes Keggs and Eggs, so for the institution to be stigmatized due to this event is ridiculous. The reason why the university is receiving such bad publicity, is because it's in a small city with the university being the focal point of the entire city.

We all understand the world is changing Glenn but showing the people of Japan suffering and then following that video with a select few students who were belligerent is extraneous. as a UA alum, i think far too many people are unaware of the fact that 'kegs and eggs' has been going on for years, yet up until this year, the police department basically turned the other cheek. a great deal of the students that participate are under 21, but for some reason were able to get into known underage bars such (Chubbys) while a huge crowd would be forming outside. where were the police then? things certainly went too far this year, but this is what it takes for the community to care?

Glenn Beck is an absolute IDIOT i happen to be a SUNY Albany student and 99.9% of the student body does NOT behave in the manner shown in that video. My campus community is big on community service and giving back to the less fortunate. There are hundreds of student organizations on campus that fund raise and donate money worldwide every semester. Anyone that compares these two incomparable events obviously has not visited our campus to see the wonderful things that UALBANY students do everyday.

Personally, I have to agree with Beck here. What my fellow UAlbany students did here was a complete and utter disgrace. Not only does it detract from all the good some have done, but it detracts from people like me showing any pride in my university. As Clinton stated in his speech two weeks prior to this fiasco, we as the privileged who are educated, should expect and do better for the world around us.
