Ecto is a 1959 Caddie with hearse body made by Miller Metor coach builders. They took a Series 62 1959 and stretched the body by 2 ft. Ecto is 21 ft long and weighs close to 3 tons with all the "Ghostbusters" equipment. The engine is a 7 liter 390 cuibic inch V8 with 325 horsepower. I saw one on Ebay for $60.000 completely restored. If only if I had that kind of money. Sigh. Great car! One of the best cars ever made!

Replica of course. The real question is, why would they give it out? The original Ecto-1 is cheaper than Ecto-1a. And the collision possibility is very high, because of the chassis and weight.
