IITs suck! See the videos from IIT on YouTube! They are not even a pale shadow of MIT Open CourseWare. Sorry dudes, the IITs - as institutions - suck rotten kiwi! I have never hired any IITian and I have never missed anything!!!!

@Sunovan What you say is true . (about the comparison of IITs with MIT). IITs do lack in many facilities that are common in USA.

and its not that u will gain something more by hiring an IITian. I guess you run a pretty big company since u say u've never missed anything. Ur company will have people(americans, french,etc...) who are outstanding. Now what I'm saying is that people of equivalent calibre in India are IITians (atleast 85% of them).

@shah1134 the aim of creating the IITs was just to provide more top class jobs in India. Let me guess, u r frustrated at not cracking the JEE right ?

and BTW, why would an IITian go after research when many companies offer fat packages after their graduation ? .. and many IITians have gone into the research field, but haven't won nobel prizes. u cant blame them for not winning nobel prizes.

at last yes he is great indian business man ... par wo saare IITian ka aur baki indian ka emploer nahin hain .. he has no right to comment like this ... because he is not president and he is earning for himself ... and because he feels that he need resources to make him more wealthy .. he gives job...

if he want productivity like west /US ... pay like them ... atleast 1/4 of them .. then expect .... pay karne main to tatti nikal jati hain .. bol rha hain bho* ka

and it makes personal life hectic ... agar main bhi 40 yrs pahle paida hota to shayad main bhi narayan muthy ban sakta tha ....

aur this is the truth that each next generation is more qualified and skilled than its seniors .....

now every person sincere about his career andevery body believes to do hard working ....

there are lot of student who studied hard .. more than 10-12 hrs /day regularly ..

not of like 1970 era ,ki B.A. bhi paas kar liye to badi baat ho gayi...

see .. narayn murthy ne padha to .. tum kyn sungh rahe ho.. narayn murhty ne kevel waqt ka fayeda uthaya .. ify is not a such good cmpny in IT ... it doesn't do creative work as like oracle, google facebook and all other product cmpnies do... even its one banking product finnacal idea is stolen by some other cmpny's product ... and the most important thing IITian donot go to infy ... bcz .. this cmpny doesn't fullfill their criteria .. Infy pay less .. the quality of work also not good
