  • It can only be received by a willing Heart with FAITH... to believe, with out the science... so you will never get a common sense answer from GOD... he does what he wants, when he wants... You just have to receive it...

  • We should study the bible on xmas rather than go nuts in the middle of shopping in my opinion

  • I allow comments to be made so that both the good and the ugly can be viewed as such and that the true hearts of they who make these comments are plainly visible.

  • I am shock at some of thes comments we don't have to be christian to love one another or celebrate christmas. We need to look in our hearts and see what we can do for those less fortunate than ourselves/

  • happy birthday Horus, Dionysus, Krishna, Attis, Mithra, and Jesus

  • Hmmm!.... wondering why people retaliate to the negative comments on here when you know its exactly what satin wants you to do.....Love the haters, that's what the lord would want us to do.

  • press like if you love "Jesus.

  • @smrndoff - thank you for adding your interesting albeit colorful comment. The more attention brought to this video the more views it receives! Thank you for taking the time to write something. ~Josh~

  • @THELDSLIFE

Oh how kind. I appreciate it. Have a nice time and remember the hazel is a special tree. A magic tree. A life giver. A real and literal saviour.

  • @smrndoff - there are many things between heaven and earth; even mysteries that we do not yet understand. Although some things about animals and plant life has been construed as mystical and spiritual, we both know that the Christmas tree is essentially symbolic. The evergreen needles represent the everlasting nature of eternal life and that gift which Christ had brought mankind through his sacrifice and power. Symbols are what help teach correct principles but to some, it just seems like fluff.

  • @THELDSLIFE

one thing is for sure. abrahamic religions are nasty, primitive, destructive of nature, domineering, violent, sectarian, divisive, parochial, repugnant and unattractive.

You stories are fantasies, myths and down right lies. Even a moderatley intelligent child wouldn't accept them unless brainwashed and frightened into it. Keep your myth. The pagan accounts of the world are more spiritually uplifting, creative and wholesome. Give me mother nature over your blood sacrifice any time.

  • @smrndoff I find it amusing you consider Christianity and Judaism primitive and repugnant.

you say we ought to keep our blood sacrifices. Just to let you in on a little secrete the Pagans Sacrificed as well and more than just a lamb or two doves. Pagans would sacrifice people,Unfruitful women is a good example. I wouldn't consider who believe in the word of God Brainwashed,at least not any more "brainwashed" than those of any other religion or Political standing.

  • @narucraze I find it terrible that you feel the need to lash out at peoples beliefs. You disagree you can simply keep it to yourself, but you chose to attack us. Furthermore if you are so indebted to your Christmas or holiday Theories why would you even bother clicking on this video?Maybe you are just looking for some attention? Perhaps you are hurt ad want some one to come to your aid,but you don't know how to ask;so you lash out?I'm obviously not being very Christian like, but I'm just a man

  • why do christians have a fixation with israel when israelis think jesus was a schmuck?

  • My prayer is that the Mormon people will come to know the true historical Christ of the scriptures.

  • @October31st1517 - May we all come to know that same Jesus... King of Kings, Savior and Redeemer of all of Israel and all the world!

  • @THELDSLIFE Amen to your statement. But I do have a question. In John 5:18 it states:

" Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God."

Is the Jesus that you serve "equal with God?"

  • serious question, not trying to be sarcastic, but do LDS families when they tell the story of the Birth of Jesus leave out the teaching of Joseph Smith where he says that God physically came down and had sex with Mary? If you leave it out does that mean you don't believe it?

  • @sonofcohen - no this has never been doctrine. Not all things said by early church leaders constitutes as doctrine for the church. And FYI... Joseph Smith wasn't the one who postulated this idea... and no, not many if any ever took that thought seriously enough to consider it as doctrine. We teach that Mary conceived through the power of the holy ghost... just as in the Bible, Book of Mormon, etc...

  • @THELDSLIFE you right I apoligize it wasn't Joseph Smith, but it was Brigham Young and Bruce McConkie, Bruce was an apostle am I right? Was he lying? What about Brigham Young? If these are some of the most influental leaders of the early church why should this teaching of theirs be overlooked? I'm seriously asking how one reconciles this. Why is it not church doctrine when it can be found in the book Mormon Doctrine (page 547)

  • @sonofcohen - Mormon Doctrine is a book, like many other books that have been written by General Authorities. Although in many cases there have been accurate or possibly even very revealing postulates from these oracles, unless it is accepted by all 12 (The Quorum of the 12 Apostles and First Presidency) it is not church doctrine. What is church doctrine can be found in the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

Same goes for me and my blog about doctrine.

  • @THELDSLIFE so it doesn't seem to bother you that several of your hihgly influental founding teachers and leaders believed, and taught things that completely contradict scripture?

  • @sonofcohen - No it doesn't bother me... because even the Apostles during the days of Jesus had some REALLY weird beliefs but the Lord helped to correct those. Right? Remember... Jesus corrected them on many occasions and allows men to make mistakes.

So, over time... after reproof and correction, careful prayer, what IS doctrine was established. We do not claim to know everything as a church but we have enough information and knowledge about the plan of salvation to tie us over until we pass on.

  • @THELDSLIFE good question and answer chen and ldslife.

  • @THELDSLIFE I agree sometimes the disciples said some crazy things and Jesus was quick to correct their ideas. Did the other apostles rebuke these men for their teachings? Were they told to stop teaching these wrong beliefs? You have enough information to tie you over? How come Jospeh Smith said the BOM contained the fullness of the gospel, if that is true how come most of the doctrines unice to the LDS church are not in there?

  • @sonofcohen - in the Book of Mormon, we learn that the first principles and ordinances of the gospel are "Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, second Repentance, third baptism, and fourth the laying on of hands to receive the gift of the holy ghost.

The LDS church does not claim to know everything but what has been revealed is sufficient to help Proclaim the Gospel, Perfect the Saints, Redeem the Dead, and last but not least, "Care for the Poor and Needy." - Things the Lord deems as necessary...

  • @THELDSLIFE which of those things were not found in the Bible that needed to be restored?

  • @sonofcohen - the part where we have been promised to come to a "unity of the faith" comes to mind. I believe whole heartedly that coming to this UNITY of the faith was not 20,000 sects coming to a compromise. I think the Lord's goal was for the WHOLE earth to be converted unto Jesus Christ and that this message needed to be returned to the earth; else John, the Revelator, would not have had need to suggest the need for an Angel to do so. (Revelations 14:5-6) as part of this (Acts 3: 19-21)

  • @THELDSLIFE so you believe that everyone will be eventually found righteous in Gods sight?

  • @sonofcohen I'm not sure if I will explain this correctly as well as THELDSLIFE has been, but I'll try. We believe that we are on the Earth as a test, a test to see if we are willing to stay righteous to be able to return to God in the Celestial Kingdom. So no, we do not believe everyone will be found righteous, we hope that everyone would be found righteous, but we know not everyone on Earth will do so. We do believe though that God loves everyone, no matter what.

  • @Sstarr77 - how does someone pass the "test"? In the Joseph Smith version of the Bible he adds the word "not" to Romans 3 so that it reads "God justifieth not the ungodly" Are you godly? if so, how did you get that way? Why would a Godly person need to be justified in the first place? Doesn't that seem like an impossible test to pass?

  • @sonofcohen we try to be like Jesus. we know no one is perfect, and Jesus was the only perfect person. When it says godly, it means god-like. no, we are not godly, we just try our best to be like Jesus. it is saying God does not justify an ungodly person. lets say someone like Hitler. he's ungodly, right? god will not justify him.

  • @Sstarr77 - very well said, Starr...

  • @Sstarr77 I'm sorry but I'm having trouble understand your statement. You say you are not Godly right? Jesus was Godly and proved it by being perfect, but I'm assuming you are not perfect. It sounds to me like you are saying that by trying to be good like Jesus makes you godly and since Hitler was obviously evil he of course is ungodly. So am I correct to assume that you believe someones actions make them godly?

  • @sonofcohen No, you are not correct. We know we are not godly, we just try to be like Jesus the best we can (hence the song "I'm Trying to be Like Jesus" in the primary songbook). Do you get it now?

  • @Sstarr77 no, I'm not LDS and I don't know the song you mentioned. You say you are not Godly but Jospeh Smith said the Bible was meant to read "God justifieth NOT the ungodly" so my question is, if you are not Godly and God does not justify the ungodly, how then are you saved? You say your just trying to be like Jesus but you also said that your actions don't justify you, this seems really confusing to us non LDS.

  • @sonofcohen one week and still no answer? Why is it when I ask these types of questions and people that the LDS church teaches an impossible gospel, they just clam up. Heartbreaking. According to LDS teachings, you can't be saved in your sins, you can only be saved "after all you can do" and God never justifies those that are ungodly. What hope is there then? Remember, the criminal next to Jesus was saved just for believing.

  • @sonofcohen

While I appreciate your questions. The tone in which you ask them can use some work. That being said, Your understanding of being saved is quite different than our understanding. We believe that all men will be saved as you stipulate. In your definition of saved, all men will be saved from this world and be resurrected. But we believe that being saved is more than being resurrected. We believe that to be fully "saved" is to live again with God in the Celestial Kingdom.

  • @E2TEWH I read those old comments and I'm not sure what was wrong with my tone. I was polite but I don't accept bad answers as answers. Since this video is about Christmas I have been asking many LDS what this quote means and I don't get a clear answer on it either. The natural processes of procreation were involved; Jesus was begotten by his Father as literally as he was conceived by his mother." (Doctrinal New Testament Commentary 1:144) What is the natural process?

  • @sonofcohen Maybe this will give you a better understanding of What we Believe it means to be Saved. The problem is you and I are speaking of 2 different definitions. And until we are speaking in the same terms, we can not have a real dialogue. So while you may gather great joy in finding fault with me because our definitions differ, would not our time together be better spent by finding common ground?

  • @sonofcohen if you go to h ttp://lds.org/general-conference/1998/04/have-you-been-saved?lang=eng&query=does+mean+saved Here is the link referred to above in regards to what we believe it means to be saved.

  • @sonofcohen - a true meaning of what has already been written is a great start... plus God wants to continue revealing MANY important things pertaining to the kingdom of God. The Book of Mormon, or ONE of it's purposes, was to enable revelation once more. Having a prophet once again at the head of Israel is a very welcome thing. The Bible has also foreseen much of what is already taking place. Having things from the Bible being restored has been mentioned IN the Bible helping to PROVE the Bible.

  • thx for loading this video to youtube mate. saves the postage time.

  • @2Calam - anytime!

  • Good video, buddy! Merry Christmas to you!

  • The song "The Very First Christmas Gift" by miyeh

is about the true meaning and reason of the most celebrated holiday of the year, the Christmas.

The society is trying hard to bury the true meaning of the Christmas. Why? where is the loving warmness of the season's greeting and appreciation of each other?

When government and education systems try so hard to bury the Jesus' birthday, Christmas is always the most celebrated day that God ever gave to us. God Bless America in this difficult time.

  • I can feel the Spirit so strongly whilst watching this.

  • @HonkifULuvBrownies - We believe In Christ. He IS our KING! Even though we understand him differently, and at times in STARK contrast to how others who claim Christ to be their master, we are Christian!

  • @THELDSLIFE yes indeed

  • The Lord is truly King!
