I'm very happy that your sister is eating, but you have no right to film her eating. It's painful enough to have to get through a meal without cameras. Taping a recovering anorexic eating and posting it online is like taping therapy sessions and posting them online. You just don't do it!

@lalamouse77 If I was struggling with an eating disorder, I'd sure as hell want to see a success story about a strong, young girl who is working to beat the disease. I imagine it would be even more helpful for her too...She has the potential to help many people who are struggling just like her. She can be a role model for them. That could drive her forward...Give her another reason to stay healthy. So, I'd say it's pretty helpful.
@lalamouse77 Who gives? If she didn't WANT to be taped, she would have made a fuss to get them to turn it off and/or just simply refuse to eat anything until they did turn it off. That is not a video of a girl who is showing extreme dislike of being on camera.
@DESERVANT I'm 75 percent sure she wasn't excited to be taped. People with eating disorders are really good at letting people get what they want. But whatever, it's not worth fighting about.

Well done! She can be so proud of herself! I've suffered from anorexia for 7 years, and bulimia for 5 of those years. Can't eat much, and if I do, I have to get rid of it. Worst thing ever, but I can't stop! Ana won't go away, she's my best friend when I don't need her, and my worst enemy when I do need her. God bless your sister for pulling through and actually managing to finish that meal with people watching and making a film of it! I could never have done that. My best wishes for the future!
Harriett is such an inspiration to everyone recovering from an eating disorder including myself. Ive suffered from anorexia for 1 1/2 years and this past march developed bulimia and In my second treatment attempt. Its sooo hard and I understand. God helped me pull through 2 times through the toughest times in my life. God Is on your side as well :)
Personally I am surprised she was okay with being filmed, but I am not angry at the people who made the video, they are trying to support Harriett.
