What I notice is how brutally slow he pulls out; no acceleration. And what's more appalling is that just about every car ignores him. But I'm not surprised; after living in Japan for 5 years, I can't count the number of times I saw ambulances driving 30 km/hr on wide open, empty streets, with their lights and sirens going; and pedestrians at intersections continuing to cross in front of emergency vehicles having their lights and sirens on....
Recently, the number of a malignant driver and pedestrian who doesn't transfer the road in Japan though the emergency vehicle sounds a siren has increased.
This is a very serious problem.
Actually, the rescue worker contributes this problem to the magazine, and it gets into the news.
