  • bad quality

  • Question. My example: Lets say I have a snare with really wet reverb, or even a couple tracks with really wet reverb that i've put into a group channel. I then want to add effects to the result of all that reverb, not the original dry tracks. I just tried adding a midi gate to the group channel of a snare with tons of reverb, to see if it would chop up the reverb tail, and it just chopped up the original wave of the dry snare. How do I add effects to effects? Is there a way?

  • i can record my voice from Cubase le 5?? can you tel me plzz.. thanks

  • what version of cubase is this? i work with cubase 4 and i just got cubase 5

  • can u add ure own vocals and guitar ect on this sofware.

  • how do u add a media file to record over, as in saying pputtin vocals to an audio track

  • WORST QUALITY EVAR.

  • Gracias por el tutorial, si quereis mas tutoriales de cubase entrad en mi perfil que tengo muchos, para principioantes y niveles un poco mas altos.

    Ciao!

  • these videos are very informative if u already know what hes talking about.if i already knew this stuff i wudnt want to watch a tutorial on it.

  • is there any where i can look online to show me how to operate my cubase software?

  • i love expert village's videos but i swear they are the worst quality ever

  • hey i bought a external sound card, cubase LE4 and a microphone and i hooked it all up, installed the sound card and then i went to record a track in cubase. but for some reason it was recording via the built in mic in my laptop. then i went and downloaded audacity to see if cubace was the problem, and i think i was right, cuz audacity has no problem recording from my studio mic. plz help me get cubase working, i would really pretiate some help :)

    peace.

  • Try right clicking the sound control on the bottom right on your screen>recording devices>record- after you've installed you should see the name of your studio mic there. Choose it and woaalaaah.. . . . . Hopefully.

  • thx man, but i fixed it, it was cz i needed to tell qubase that the sound card was hooked up :)

  • All u have to do is go to your contral panel and go to hardware and Sound and go to sound then change the default input that you have (which will be the laptop microphone) to the other input thatz connected to your mic

  • hi!

i also had that problem. on your programs menu where cubase is there should also be a thing called "asio". I've got cubase five and on mine its called "asio full duplex setup" but it could be different for your version. anyway if you have that, go on it and then look on the window that pops up. somewhere on there you should be able to see you microphone. tick the box next to it and untick the one next to your built in mic. then open cubase and try again :) that worked for me.

  • oop sorry didnt see your comment below!

  • its all good man :) but thx anyway :)

  • I cant get it to punchin with a pre roll heeeeelp

  • Hi..

I cant navigate trough a track (with left & right key) anymore. If I press the right key, it selects the track in stead of moving the cursor. If I press the left key, nothing happends. Already tried to reinstall but it didnt work. Could someone PLEASE help me?! :(

  • why to the right chanale?

  • why 100% wet and 0%dry?

  • cause the more dry you put more echo you hear

  • I think he meant 100% dry and 0% wet.. If you had 100% wet it would be the Reverb only.. But who knows.. Maybe he likes it that way.. But dry is your original track... Which most would prefer more of than the Wet mix

  • @nevbone1674 thanks for saying that i was a little confused when he said that i thought 100% dry and then add the desired amount of wet

to that sounds like way to do it

  • @marena936 definitely only add the desired amount of reverb. I can understand 100% wet if he meant the settings in the actual reverb plug in, then you just adjust the amount in the sends effects to what you want it to be.

  • thanks!!!

  • I just got the CUBASE LE 4 which came with my LAMBDA Interface. In order to record the music I make on the keyboard, I press the record button, on CUBASE and press play on the keyboard. I press stop and I am not able to play back the music. Seems like nothing is recorded (CUBASE is the only music software that I have in my computer). does anyone see any reason why CUBASE would not record?

  • go to file and click new project , then click default, then left click the mouse and click add a track then try to record it should work

if it doesn't work check your sound

  • Be sure to make sure that you have the most up-to-date audio drivers.

  • Now I don't how your interface works, but.

    - Make a new project, choose empty.

    - Go to "Devices", then "Device Setup". Here, choose your interface. "Lambda Audio" or something like that.

    - Go to "Devices", then "VST Connections". Go to input, select the default bus, delete it. Then click "Add Bus", and choose Stereo.

    - In the main window, add a track, and choose stereo. On the left side, choose the VST Connection you did "Lamda In 1/2" or something. It should obviously work now.

    Hope it helped
