Get some work done on your heads, put on dual carburetors, and add some full-flow oiling, in addition to a deep sump for more oil... and oh yeah, don't forget the disc brakes! You can't go fast until you stop fast!

got some tips that might help you die... 1st of all these bloody ricers dont know what there up against.

you could do what im going to do.. stick a speedcar engine in it (flat 4) tune the shit out of it. 6 speed gear box, rollcage might help. but for fuck sake if you do all that DO NOT turbo charge it or the car will not hold together and you WILL die. by the way .. mine is a 72 beetle.

More than that, really. The Beetle is known for being slow (Especially that model, a Super, being heavier) because the engines are, relative to other motors, VERY sloppy. For good reason, too, their purpose is to be able to rebuild them with hand tools.

But that means they're way easy to build up if you know what you're doing.
