I greatly enjoyed this game. It was shorter than I expected, but it was enjoyable and beautiful 4 hours. (And comparing it to something like Ocarina of Time for value is unfair... that game already made its money. This game is new.)

Have you tried it yet? If you haven't, then it's not a TERRIBLE waste of money. I really wish they would have made a full version of it, though. I would definitely buy it if they did ;) So far this game and "My Life as a King" are the only Wiiware games that I like.

what do you mean full version? If you are referring to the fact that LostWinds has a cliffhanger ending, there is a sequel called LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias.

Lostwinds IS a full version, it's just quite short. LW:WotM picks up exactly where it left off. For 2000 Wii Points, you can get both games, and both games together are about the length of a normal disc game. And seeing as 2000 Wii points cost about as much as a disc game, it means LostWinds is actually good value.

For sure, Zapper is one of the best PS2 games I bought. Simple to play, but tests your noggin, too ;) ...and dare I say your patience as well :P

I was aware of the fact since the posting of my comment 7 MONTHS ago that there was going to be a sequel ( I signed up for updates to the release of the next game.You knew you could do that, right? ) And, of course, I knew the cost of both games ( it's not too hard to figure out :P) But I still think a full game should be at least 8 hours long in game play. That's mine, and from what I make of it, many others view as well. I like the games, but I just don't consider them FULL versions :)

@Penisbruch1828 Yeah, but its what, ten bucks? Ten dollars for three hours (three excellent hours) of game play would be like a $60 dollar game having thirty hours of gameplay. Considering its a platform game, the value is excellent.

i suggest, buy ff m.l.a.a.k. first. its a long game and fun (sometimes a LIIIITTTLEE bit boring, but realy, just a LIIITTTLEEEE) and wait for lost winds 2. and lets hope its 1000 wii points too. so you can get them both at the same time. realy, this is the best game on wii ware. but its sooo short. but realy best game on wii ware.

a huge down side....freezes up on me and this game also locks up my wii. the only way to unfreeze my wii is to unplug it. i love the game but when he gets stuck in the water or against the wall you have to reset the game. i love it but it screws up my wii and my character gets stuck a lot.

i got this game, i had to delete my new nintendo channel to get it, but it was worth it.

beautiful game, wish it wasn't a wiiware game so less blocks would be used on my wii.

straightforward gameplay, it kinda works like zelda with auto jump intact until u get the wind spirit and its quickly upgrading powers.

It's fun to be spat out of a plant then using the wind to jump even higher.

I'll tell you more about it as I play on.

Why can't we use the other spirits?
