Its not fake. Its called supercooling. When you fill up the bottle as high as it can go, it wont freeze because there is no room to expand. But once you disturb it, the ait inside quickly crystalizes

It doesn't work with water, and I doubt it would work with soda. Beer can get closer to freezing point without actually freezing immediately because alcohol is harder to freeze.
