I seen the Carter Family quite a lot of times in the late fifties and early sixties. They really put on a terrific show. Mother Maybelle would have a deadpan face and the girls would take care of the comedy. Johnny Cash was with them most of the time. I really loved Anita and was really sad when she passed on. I often wondered why she didn't have the career June had. She was very talented and pretty.
