  • It almost seems like all the comments here are an anti-advertising campaign. My neighbor, 250 feet away, gets the signal from my Belkin N+ stronger than both the other 2 signals which are closer as well as ALL NINE of the other signals on our street. I've only had 3 wireless routers before, but this 1 is by FAR the best! (& cheap too)

  • this router is shit 1 min im 14-3 on black ops the other im dissconnected from psn

  • worst router i've ever had. the only time it worked was when i used it in place of a clay pidgeon, good aerodynamic surfaces

  • milabits?

  • @demyrik "milli"bit ... 1 millibit = 0,001 bit? LOL

This guy in the video doesn't even know what he's talking about xDD

  • @Nox665 - Giganet Ethernet! XD

  • lol, millibits

  • omg i cant set up my security ass holes keep lagin my shet

  • 300 millabits per second?? eh??? Can i really trust this guy... I definitely dont trust the modem, gives me a intermittent internet connection even when connected by ethernet, whereas previously i had no problems. Stay away!

  • cant play some games like mw2 since i bought this router .

    help :D ?

  • @sulimi4ever95 me either man i cant connect wirelessly to my ps3 and when i use it wired with this router it just kicks me out..this router was a waste of money

  • @brownprider214

  • @sulimi4ever95 same here, i cant play mw2 on my pc, what a shit router

  • this is bad for me.... shocking lag on xbox and on PC

  • mac address filtering is best method

  • does a router like this really improve gaming?? i just don't know how any router could do that

  • With security on the wireless network will only transfer files at 25 to 30 mbps, not much better than my old wireless g does. With security off it performs much better at 140 mbps, which is about average for a wireless N router. However other routers will maintain close to the 140 with security on. It is obvious that the processing power of the router badly under powered to do the encryption for the security.

    (See next post for more)

  • set your security to aes wpa 2 and you should see improvements

  • The USB port will only deliver 18 to 25 mbps no matter what I do. If I connect the same USB drive straight to my laptop I get 250 mbps. And that is with security off. That can only be the storage manager software supplied with router not performing how it should.

  • No matter what I tried, the suggested changing of channels made a slight difference. Moving the router to different locations, having my laptop right next to the router, moving it to 10 ft away. Everything I tried did very little to its performance. And I am very experienced with compters and dont like to be beaten.

  • I am very unhappy with this router and will be returning it.

I would normally just return a product that I feel doesn't do the job, but this is the worst case of under performance in a product that I have seen in my 25 years of computing.

  • @ianmill1 why is it bad i works just fine for me

  • is this router (or any N router) good for a ps3

  • @listert2595, wireless N router wont have much effect on your PS3 other than increased signal strength.

For example, your normal wireless g router may give you a couple of bars on your signal and a wireless N would hopefully nearly double the strength.

Your wifi will only run as fast as your slowest device. N supports up to 300m wireless and G up to 54Mb realistically, the PS3 only has wireless G.

So the maximum speed the PS3 would connect wireless is 54G even on a wireless N router.

  • im using this router right now, and im 10 meters from it wirelessly and im even having trouble streaming this video, i hate it, its shit and drops wireless conection randomly.

  • it is odd that this router costs over $100 and it does not perform as posters say. My DSL/modem is in the living, I am away in my bedroom with Netgear wireless adapter card in my PC, and I connect well. All your problems seem not to be the router but the DSL/Modem. Get a better DSL/modem from comcast or qwest.

  • I'm so glad I bought this router, I bought it so I can have wifi on my iPhone but now I'm ready for when I get my Laptop.

  • i got internetz al ov3r t3h h0u2e

  • mega cool router My best staf my Houm
