does anyone know the optimum ratio of displacement between two pistons on stirling engine

@nielset 7.5 to 1 for a high temperature engine, 55 to 1 for a low temperature engine. but this can vary quite a bit either way for each.

@magnum9987 It's your basic Stirling engine principle of a displacer (marbles) moving air from a hot side to a cold side, the resulting expansion and contraction of the air inside drives the piston.
