throw on a bat. let it dry COVERED!!!! until leather hard, trim it just a little, and fire!!!! but WATCH the drying! otherwise it will crack. before you trim take a wire and carefully cut it off the bat! walah!! a plate :)
@bookwormliam Just make sure you throw all of your plates on a bat that way you can let your plate setup on the bat instead of trying to remove it and end up warping the clay. Remember to run your wire under the bat once you've thrown the plate and then comeback and run the wire through again once the plate is more setup, then you can trim it. Hope this was somewhat helpful.
