Rajneeti didnt win in any award ceremony best movie category till now, where as Dabangg and even Udaan has won best movie. This is rather shame of the awards than the failure of Rajneeti. If someone asks after 20 yrs, which was the best movie of 2010, answer will be Rajneeti. Dabangg, Udaan, MNIK will be forgotten long before.

@fotkakuddus I don't think MNIK will be forgotten soon. It's surely as good a film as Raajneeti, and I would even argue that it's better. I'm also pretty sure MNIK is more memorable than Raajneeti. Of course Dabangg is just pop corn entertainment and it shouldn't have won the Best Film Award (to me it should have been MNIK). Udaan is a good film, though I guess not really outstanding.

this film is a copy of The Godfather movie part 1 n 2. with almost all details.Met a little change here and there. but they have created a masterpiece. great movie. The godfather is my favorite movie now Rajniti too. It's just unfortunate that I almost in every scene all knew what would happen next.

If Ajay Devgan won the election then it would have been a misfit since it was Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpai who start off the battle due to their greed for political power. In the whole movie one can easily make out that Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpai have negative shades, just like Kauravs but they get completely defeated by Pandavas.

EXCELLENT movie. Ranbir and Arjun stole the show. Katrina....still can't act...however she was a necessary position holder in the movie. The movie kept me guessing. Numerous twists and turns. 5 stars for sure! : )
