we had a 61 4WD kaiser wagon when I was a kid, for those Michigan winters and to pack it up for summers up in Tawas what a great little vehicle. I miss it almost as much as my youth
@texaskev09 that may be true but there is something about the old jeeps that the new ones will never have. theres just something about having the top AND the front window down putting through the woods at a snails pace going everywhere you point the 60 year old vehicle with probably like a million miles on it. but yeah I like the new ones too.
Wow. Look at this ad. This is when the American auto industry still cared. They strived to give the best product they could. Variety in the product line, individual strengths in each line. Now they're just churning out identical garbage. I would go out today and buy a FC 150 except nowadays Jeep would have it with some gaudy body style and they would have engineered all the quality right out of it- no solid axles, power everything, no manual trans to be had at any price.
dude! id love a FC-150

@MEANGREEN4u You know it! As another old commercial said, 'prettier than a new pair of snow tires!'

The current Jeep JK is the best Jeep ever. But I love the history.
