  • this is badass... BUT these r not mardi gras colors!

  • i actually have a question, if i want to do this and i dont have primer is it possible to just use a small amount of foundation/concealer to prime my eyes?

  • youre amazing.

  • HAHA I love the opening "credits" it's goofy (in a good way) The stencils are a great idea ~ I might not try it while partying too hard, because it would end up all over the place as the night went on :P but good idea!

  • ur a guy right/

i dont have anything against it just wondering!

    but yah it looks great!

  • this is awesome but a little weird? haha but cool. =]

  • Ummmm...

  • I loved it ..!!!!

  • This isn't a Mardi Gras look.

Mardi Gras colors are purple, green, and gold. I live in New Orleans and experience Mardi Gras every year. These color wouldve look right.

  • wow; its really pretty,

and adding some crystals would be really nice, yeah

    :D

  • Where do you get stencils?? I've been looking all over!!!

  • Arts and Crafts stores - hobby stores too.

  • love it.

are you gonna do another look for this year? mardi gras around the corner lol

  • I love this look! I am having a Mardi Gras themed wedding and I may just use this for my make-up. It is defiantly going into my folder of ideas.

  • Interesting but your eyelashes will not stay on long. It has been my 30 year experience to put them on first if I want them to stay for the whole performance.

  • wow im gonna do this

  • so beautiful!

  • nice..

  • so beautiful!

  • ahh i love it

  • I'm glad there's another MUA that's not afraid to use color!!

  • you have such a nice eye shape

  • you forgot to add Digit in your list of products used in this video. Just an observation :)

  • good catch! thanks! I will add.

  • What a gift- thanks!

  • LOL earn those beads, hahaha... that made me giggle!

  • Wonderful make up you are so talented!!

Which Loew Cornell brush is close to the MAC 224 and 219?

  • YOU ARE SO FUN!!

  • You are so amazing and creative.

  • YOU'RE SO CUTE :)

  • haha, thats fun! I luv the stencils!

  • you're so creative! If I had a carnival to go to I would definitely try this!

  • hehe its similar to a 239 -but its a loew cornell version.

  • very nice. i need some make up applying lessons. im too simple with mine and i totalyl could have used something extra for when i was in new orleans for mardi gras this year!!! roar

  • he answered that right under you.

  • Looooooooooooove this look, Koren. Your best one yet. You should totally compile all your vids into a DVD and sell it!

  • Gorgeous! I love that stencil.

  • i love your eyes! there beautiful!! and ur videos!! learned alot

  • What's Fat Tuesday?!!

    Your intro is so adorable.

This is such a great look. I love it..... and I love you!

Are you well? I'll email you privately anyway!

  • hehe Mardi Gras - or Fat Tuesday, is a big celebration. Its a festival where people indulge and celebrate before LENT season. It follows ASH Wednesday, which starts 40 days of fasting to some, and ends Easter Sunday.

  • Oh right. I'm Catholic, but there's no festival in the anglo-catholic side of things.... just Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Tuesday.... seems a tad boring after you and your carnival!

I'd just never heard of it referred to as Fat Tuesday.

  • wat brush are you using inthe biginning i really want to knoow thanks enkore i really appreciate your work

  • its a shading brush - much like a MAC 239.

  • its your fave colors gurl!!

  • whoever gets their makeup done from you is darn lucky! i wish you were my makeup artist for whenever i go somewhere formal

  • me too!!! by the way, koren... as a darkish skinned person, i always feel that no matter how much UDPP or bare canvas i use, my colors don't always look as pretty as they do in pale girls... they just don't come off the same. anything else i can do?

  • Try adding a little more udpp, then use a cream shadow on top. When you apply the color pack it on, but I mean pack it. don't blend the full surface of the color, just the edges where they connect.

  • youre so cool

  • that was a really cute look! i love it, the stencilling was awesome.

  • Today was so effing fun.

    ;]

    I caught a shit load.

    [I live in New Orleans]

  • lol earn those beads!

  • love the look!!! you should have been here Today! HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!!

  • oh man!i WISH i was in Trinidad for carnival this week! :(

  • awesomee

  • if you use shadow to fill in your eyebrows could you use urban decay to prime it? i have had this question in mind for a while

    hope to here from ya

  • sure! you can apply a light coat of UDPP so that your brow color last longer. Try to work it in to the skin part as opposed to the hairs.

  • I love those colours together :)

  • cool!

  • do you always clean your brush in between eyeshadows ?

  • i just wipe it in tissue.

  • Oh, boy, I love the colours! and the stencils! And the Glitters! Now I can get my ticket to Brazil..:) Thanks Koren;)

BTW, I was born and brought up in Argentina; Carnival is big there but so is in most European countries (excluding the UK)

  • Whats the name of your theme song?

Sounds like that one from the Disney Movie: Tarzan.

    I really like it!

  • yes its from TARZAN, the Broadway musical version.

  • I thought I've heard it before!!!

    lol

  • We have Karneval in Germany too. But it's over tonight at 12. It's not only caribean.

  • Your intro is soooo cute ;]. Koren you are just too adorable!

  • You know what happends...I drink and drink and ..yeah drink and at the end of the night makeup is gone haha I dunno how. :(

But this is verrry gorgous! :)

  • stunning, i loved the complimentive colours.

  • my lids get oily throughout the day. I use the Mac Paints and paint pots but in your opinion, is the UDPP better for oily lids? the MAC paints work alright but if the UDPP is better i wanna try it!

love your videos. you bring the art of makeup to your viewers in such a practical and charming way. love the opening sequence you're the best!

  • hey sweetchic - yes, UDPP is the best by far.

  • loves it :D i love mardi gras!

  • Awesome look :) Im gonna have to look up mardi gras though, I hear of it a lot but don't know what its all about. lol

  • very creative!!!

  • What a FUN party look!! You are a face artist! I want you to do my makeup then sign Koren on my lower cheek :-) Where did you get the stencil that you used?

  • im pretty sure that was in the craft store finds video, so yeah, creative/craft store i think :)

  • haha yeah Kokoda is right - its a craft store find - at Michaels, of coure :)

  • you are the best, we would all be lost without you ;)
