  • Showed my mum this and it taught her how to do it! Thank you :D

  • heyy, all , thankss hunni , now i don't have to go to the mall and get me hair done and thanks y'all xx

  • i've gotten my eyeberows threaded like 3 times vs. maxing a million times lol

waxing is wayy less painful. However both give great results! (:

  • hey, the thread is not pulling out any hairs. can you tell me how the thread pulls the hair off? i'm opening and closing my fingers, but it's still not pulling out the hairs with the bow tie knot.

  • bravo....well explained...

  • Thanks a billiioon!!!.x

  • can it be a thin thread or does it have to be thick, for thicker hair???? Thank you! =D

  • Thanks this really works!!

  • @mythang101 u gotta stretch skin to avoid that always better if sum1 doin it fa u or helping u otherwise skin can get caught in

  • does this hurt alot!!!!!!!

  • hi i just ruined my right brow , but i removed hair from my face its glowing thank you. i will practice more

  • does this work with guys too?

  • Great explanation for how threading is done. Now I understand the scissoring motion of the hands and the opposite sides of the "knot" in the middle. Great video. Thanks!

  • OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I wanted to learn this since years ago thanks again and ur english is so clear thats good because some people i cant understand what they r saying when they share cool stuff like this and I get frustrated...

  • wow great thanks for this

  • yup, and when threading on someone else...you use more string and make an anchor from your mouth...kind of complicated to say here...but, it's using the same scissor method. =]

  • thanx a lot =)

  • Muchas gracias. Eres muy generosa

  • Its better to have the knot in the thread on one side in your hand. =] At least it is for me...because when the thread twists the knot kind of stops it or gets tangled =/

  • I really liked the results when I got my eybrows threaded for the first time. So thanks to you now I can do it myself. Thanks!

  • does this make ur hair grow back lower? jw

  • haha im doing my legs!

  • nice

  • thank you soo much!!! it's pretty easy and it really works ;)

  • Right after i watched your video...i went into my sewing stuff and got out some thread and tried it...a lot simpler than i thought (still need practice) but im already starting to like this method. Thanks for the vid.

  • you have to pull your skin tight i guess

  • Thanks I hope this works!!!

  • thank you for the video it helped alot thanks gurl!!!

  • thx! it works =]

  • thank yoou so much.

    loved it.

  • cool! =D it works ...!!! thnx!

  • this was great!

  • Thanks so much for this! The lady I've been going to do thread my facial hair has brought her price up to $20 ! (used to be 10..) and I go to her like every other week. anyway i was wondering, am i doing something wrong if my skin is sometimes being pulled when i thread myself?

like it literally just pulls my skin up

  • r u indian

  • OMG! I have never seen my face this clean without any unwanted hair in my life! Thank you for your video!

  • love ur finger nails, mine wont grow lol

  • wow i was following the instructions and was doing it step by step while u were speaking , it's the best technique ever thnx!!

  • thanks : )

  • Wonder if it can pull the tiny hairs from the end of my nose

  • try holding the thread just a bit away from the skin-- don't rest it on your skin. Make the thread hover over it just a bit. You'll still catch the hair.

  • Aww me too! :[

  • THANKS YA

  • mwahhzxxx

  • Brilliant!!

Thank you, I am going to try it on my own now, instead of going to the Beauty Parla.

    Thanks

  • This is the best thing ever! I can't wait to change myself from a hairy jew to a non-hairy jew!

  • LMAO!!!

  • @Cwulfekat hahahaha dude u made me smile. thanku

  • Hey ! thanks

  • wow fankz a million man its reli helps alot

  • Much less painful than waxing, because it only pulls the hair and not the skin itself.

  • It also doesn't burn the skin itself ;)

  • @XiaoGui17 I was just going to post the exact same thing :)

  • omg i cant thank u enough ty a million if there was a bigger word than thanx i would definatly use it omg you really dont know how much i apprecaited this

and like all the others said you are sooo beautiful wow i wish i could be like you lol :]

    once again ty

  • thank you so much.

  • wow this actully works i just threaded some gurls mustache its hard work but worth it...

  • whoa, i've never seen anyone do it to themselves, that's impressive. i've been getting my eyebrows threaded since i was 13-14 and i'm almost 22 now. i'm trying to convince my friend to go with me and showed her your video. =)

  • Thank you so much for posting this!

  • wow im trying that lol. thanx :)

  • dude that was sooo helpful, im not confident enough to do my eyebrows yet though lol, but my upper lip and chin is awesome xoxoxox thaaaankyou!

  • geez you have such natural beauty. I love your nails.. hair.. everything haha. I've been trying to grow my nails out that long for ever! I never succeed hahah

  • omg

    thanks for the help

  • lol i hear ur accent and i love it haha

  • Hey aside from this video, got caught up with your blog regarding the genocide out in Sri Lanka with the Tamils. Was in complete shock, I dont think I've heard of anything like that going on in Sri Lanka. It's a shame how we're all destroying ourselves...sorry didnt mean to get off your beauty topic..very helpful information on both the beauty video and in politics.

  • Thank you for this. I've been wondering how to thread, and it looks sort of fun.

  • how u do the loop ?

    lol thnx

  • Get a length of thread and tie the ends together to make a loop.

  • nice job. really easy but works.

  • omg you are so gorgeous

  • this is fantastic! i have always wondered how it worked. im going to try it right now (ahora mismo)

  • wow...I a most def gonna try this today....I will try and post a response...thanks for sharing!

  • I got my eyebrows threaded at the mall and she was going so slow it hurt sooo bad!! I pluck my eyebrows and it doesn't hurt as bad as threading. Its cool how its done and i like the shape of my brow but it left scars above my eye. I 'm never getting my eyebrows threaded again.

  • That's because the person who did it didn't do it properly. Threading doesn't leave scars, regardless of how sensitive your skin is.

  • @sajamathu My thread keeps on breaking no matter what kind I use so I guess its me and I have to practice. I just wish you had showed a little better on how to hold it in my hands. Very good video though. ty

  • omg!!! thank you so much. my cousin threaded mine and showed me how to do it. it looked so complicated. this is way easier. thanks:)))))))

  • Very helpful!!!

  • wow thank you so much! =] now i just have to find my thread lol

  • I can't believe I finally understand this. Thanks so much!

  • thank you girl!! i watched a different one and it was a bit hard but u explained very well

  • FINALLY get it yuuuussss

  • great video

  • best video I've seen on eyebrow threading

  • thank u so much!!!!!!!!!

  • thanx a very good demo. i finally figured it out on your tutorial. wtg

  • heyy uhhh... cool video

i was wonderin if you could do the same with other facial hair??

  • yup!

  • hey! LOOOVE THIS! just wondered if u noticed the irony of how mny ppl r copyin ur threadin video n takin credit for it! i no tht this is ur own method becuz this is a very unknown method! but now its poppin out everywhere funny right:P

  • Lmao. Threading is an ancient art so it's been around for a while. No credit is due to me. And plus, when you make a video for youtube, it's meant for others to experience and try it out too! So don't worry to much about it! :)

  • Actual there are threading videos that go back further than the date this was posted. I think it does not make a difference who was the 1st to post, etc. Just as long as it is there for us to learn from. :)

  • hey does it hurt alot?

  • i thread my eyelashes. WOOO!

  • LOL

  • i just had my eyebrows threaded for the 1st time 2 days ago, and now i have red bumps surrounding my eyebrows. i think my skin is too sensetive for threading

  • thanx thats kool

  • Thanks so much for the great video.

  • Hey great video I was just wondering, would you do it the same if you were going to pluck someone elses eyebrows or is there a different technique to it? thanks x

  • Same technique can be applied.

  • AWESOME tutorial. I just discovered "threading" for the first time today, and I have to say that the lady at the mall who did my eyebrows did an excellent job, I've never had them shaped so perfectly! The process is much quicker, virtually painless, and doesn't leave your skin red or irritated afterward.

If you haven't had this done before, then I definately recommend it.

  • heya salam/namaste

your tutorial was really helpfull for me !

    Thx.

But i have got a personnal question : whats ur age ?

i am surprised u look too young and you are very very talented !!

  • u did veery good at demonstratin it 2 us

    thanks alot :T

  • OMG girl!! thanks sooo much!! well i have got my eyebrows threaded before by a professional and it hurt soo bad!! i was sitting here watching it and following the steps on my eyeborw w/out actually looking and then i was like ouch omg it works!!! :)

  • exactly WHAT I NEEDED.....thank you o gorgeous one.

  • haha thank you! :P

  • omgg thanks for this tutorial :]]

it helped alott. i juat tried it tonight on the top part of my eyebrow and it worked well:] exept it took me a while haha im still to slow. but ill practiice :]]

  • Just had my eyebrows threaded for the first time. It was wonderful! I can't use wax, just don't get on with the stuff. And plucking, ugh, plink, plink, plink, plink, every hair an individual little ouch!

With this, it's so fast! I'm determined to learn it for myself.

This tutorial is fantastic, I'm gonna practice on my leg (It's winter, i'm in trousers all the time heh) cos my mum wants it done too.

  • great video thanx!

can u do it on urself tho?i think that might make it a little clearer....?

  • haha ok thanks:P

  • i cant do my left side :S

this is very difficult but i did it with floss .. does that maby not work haha??

  • Yeeah, I think you might want to try cotton thread :P

  • Great job! I'm going to try it. You make it look a lot easier than the lady at my mall. I'm still going to go to her for my brows but, I'll be able do maintenance throughout the month. Keep up the good work!

  • sure

  • Thanks for this tutorial. I tried it and it works great! :D

  • What about threading upper lip hair?

  • same method can be applied

  • Yeah you can, it works for pretty much any hair you need removed.

  • thx.

  • hey thanx for the video...um does the hair grow back thicker?

  • nope

  • Thanks so much

  • I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!

But from what i have seen other people do is that they put the thread in their mouth and do somthing with the hands? what do they do?

  • you can't use that method on yourself. that method is commonly used when threading other peoples brows.

  • you did a great job, thank you.

  • thank you !!!

  • iloveyou.

    iloveyou.

    iloveyou.

    XD

    you're awesome.

  • lmao thank you :P

  • I totally learned how to do this from watching your video. AWESOME! Just think of how much money I am gonna save - I'm so excited :-D

  • wow thanks alot u are very good at teaching how to thread im real good at it now..... thanks :)

  • thank you dear

  • hey I used to have that dresser with the mirror, lol hurts when you bump into the handles LMAO, but nonetheless GREAT VID!

  • The person who does my eyebrows, Does it with her teeth she put the string in her Teeth I just want to know what is this all about.

  • Thanks a lot!!! I was looking for a tutorial which explains how to do it!!! It was a veryyy good job... but one thing more... I've seen other people puting a thread in their mouth... What is it for? ...do you know? Thank you so much

  • You're a good teacher, that was interesting. Thanks

  • oh wow u did a awesome job=]

  • Cotton thread works best.

  • this is awesome!

& don't worry! you did a great job!

    thank you so much!

  • Thanks sooooooo much for the Video. I have been wanting to learn how to thread my own eyebrows.

I took my step daughther to have hers done two weeks ago for the first time. she loved the results because waxing irritates her skin.

I will be sending your video link to her.

    Thanks!!!!!

  • AHHH! I love you! THANKS! <3 <3 :D !!

  • this was a really good vid.

i got the technique down in an instant.

and i must say it wasnt that painful at all.

the only painful part was the thread it cut into my skin on my pinky.

    but all in all.

    it was a great editorial.

    i learned it way fast.

  • ur cool.

  • nice , never thought og doing it that way. i do it differently ..

but i guess it's kind of the persian way i do it.

  • Thanks :)

That really helped. My friend threads my upper lip for me, doesn't hurt much.

Is it okay to thread the side of the face (sideburns)? If it is, do you do it the same way as the upper lip + eyebrows?

I must be the child of a monkey!

    Great vid.

  • you can thread like this for anything.

  • thank you very much! =]

  • oh thankx for that

can you plz show how to thread upper lip hair plzzzzzzzz

mine is sooooooo visible thank you!

  • you can use the same method.

  • i have never seen how to do it on your self

    thanks a lot for this

  • im indian 2

  • sweet.

    i'm gonna try this :)

  • I wasn't quite sure what loop to put it in

  • either one.

  • really helpful thanks!

  • oh very thankful thanks!!!!

  • "Funky dorey"! Cute! Maybe I'll practice on my husband first.

  • thanks this video really helped....i have never tried this before and i went home and did it and it worked perfectly....my friend said that it kinda hurt though......thanks either way!!!!!

  • fankzz for your helpfull video im gna keep practersicing n hopefully be as good as yoy XD

  • lol i tried this and only took one hair out

  • Keep practicing :)

  • OMG...thank you SO MUCH. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded several times, but the threadist would always make them too thin AND the shape did not suit my face at ALL even though I asked them to try and make different shape, more like yours : ) I got it on the first try. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

  • very very help full!! i got it on my 2nd try thank you

  • This sounds cool, I think I'm gonna go try it.

  • gahh! so i kkno how to thread, but i CANT thread MY OWN eyebrowss =/ haha, im scared to mess up my eyebrows..but great vid :)

  • Last question I promise lol do you thread in the direction of hair growth or the opposite? Like, when you tweeze, or wax you pull the hair out from the opposite direction. Does the same apply during threading as well?

  • Same rules. You don't want your hair growing in a odd position.

  • I have another question. I've noticed some women are doing the threading, and it looks like they have thread in their mouths. How do you do it that way? And is there a difference from the way you do it and they do it?

  • Threading with your mouth is generally used when you do it on other people. That method cannot be used on yourself. It's a technique I'm still practicing and once I get it 100% I'll make a video on that.

  • hey! thanx for the guidance! initially i couldn't get it, but after 2 tries, then i got it!

  • It is less painful and takes much practice. I was able to get a few hairs but I practicing a little each day.

  • I got it..thank you =)

  • thanks! Its a good enough tutorial to try and learn.

  • thank youuuuuuuuuu
