  • @Aprophecy92 this is my home kit, of course I have a real kit

  • if you have the money for those pedals. than you have enough money for a real kit and some practie space> e kits are fucked in the head

  • @Aprophecy92 see the cymbals on his left?

  • tips on how to get faster?

  • holy mother of pearl!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @tickdog3

I see what you did there...

  • fuckn beast <3

  • ryt when u said i luv my demon drive pedal man ........i luv u

  • SWEET!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • that was really good dude

  • this is awesome

  • Dude you fucking suck!! I hate the way you drum and you freakin clearly sped up the video. Nah jk that was pretty cool :D

  • this is awesome :ED very clearly not sped up.

  • Uneven hits. Its harder on e-drums but still.

  • where did you get those pedals man

  • @touchgrindBMXvideos at your local drum shop...

  • @touchgrindBMXvideos HEAVEN AKA GUITAR CENTER

  • 14 people are assholes xD

  • Fake and Gay....haha jk awesome dude

  • what settings do you use for your pedals? i got the demon drives a few weeks ago and they feel awful

  • u look like the Rev from the back ....

i mean your appearance ,not your drumming

  • Holy shit! I can't even imagine the practice time it takes to get to that level. Awesome brother!

  • Awesome!

  • DUDEEEEEE JOIN OUR BAND PLEEEEEEAAAASE< I'llllll have crazy sex with you!!!!!!!!!!

  • is pearl demon drive come with the spike thingy for the slave pedal from prevent slipping? or need to buy separate ? if anyone see this..reply..thank u..God bless u n God bless pearl..=)

  • @alvintkh nope it doesnt come with the spikey screws :) but the have really strong Velcro tape though but its sure worth the money man this pedals are insane

  • What settings do you use?You are amazing

  • SICK SHIT SHIT SO AMAZING!

  • Only if I can my make my toms and snare sound exactly like that on a Acoustic kit I would be so happy :)

  • double bass pads? why?

  • @1masterdestroyer because with only 1 pad and double pedal the yamaha kit misses notes, it works a lot better with 2 pads and 2 single pedals.

  • @drumthumpercomau oh, I see.

  • @drumthumpercomau i love your skills bro lol but whats your opinion on electric sets?? are they good for like live peformances or do they sound different live?...

  • @drumthumpercomau true i am a death / thrash metal drummer , works better , easier , better sound with 2 pads/bass drums and 2 single pedals then with 1 pad/bass drum and double pedals ,, well for me it does idk about other ppl

  • @drumthumpercomau If you wanted, it would be cool to make the left pad a cowbell or woodblock effect for Latin stuff if you're into that

  • dudes, relax, this video is not sped up.

  • wooow dude !

  • @IronBoundNorway Nothing strange about the sound. If you actually had an electric set, you'd know that you can do pretty much whatever you want to the sounds on them. Also, if he did speed up the video, granular synthesis would easily keep the sounds exactly the same pitch.

  • So...I think every time the beater hit the bass...i busted a nut. It's a fuckin mess down here now.

  • wat kit is that?

  • @FlyingBubblegum4 yamaha dtxpress IV

  • @IronBoundNorway idk if he really went out of his way to pretensiously make himself look better in front of strangers. Maybe the sound is just slightly off or something, bc i do agree with you, it looks a little wierd. Something just seems wrong with the whole picture, but i can't put my thumb on it. Hopefully im not wrong bc i would lose some hope in humanity knowing people purposely sped up videos to look better.

  • @bloomtoferal i guarantee it's not sped up, check out some other clips on my acoustic kit.

  • one m 0:00 re time

  • how did u connect your e kit to your computer and recorded it? i know that u use a midi usb cable to the computer but how did u get actually get the sound from the e kit to the computer and recorded it?

  • @G1NG3RYS for this vid i just ran an audio cable straight into the computer, no midi, then synced it with the video from a digital slr camera

  • Played them 2 times now, don't like the feeling. Not responsive enough. I recommend testing them against chain driven pedals before buying.

  • tattered and torn

  • This is not sped up, first of all he's using an electronic kit meaning its easier to hit, also all hits will mostly sound the same volume, and secondly, when I play, video taped it looks similar to that (albeit not as good!) they sound great, you should post a video how to set up your pedal similar to yours...

  • veryyy impressive

  • @IronBoundNorway

i guess thats a pretty good complement,....

  • does the beater really remove the sting from eletric drum pedals?

  • i think i'll buy the Axis A Longboards instead

  • @IronBoundNorway Well it's obvious to you that it is sped up because you are slower (I'm calling you a fucking retard) then the rest of us.

  • Get a proper kit!

  • Love those pedals, If only I had the money

  • bro SICK

  • hey a quick question did you buy two single demon drives or a double and moved the parts around.

    cheers

  • @grimaldus69 hey, i bought the double pedal and moved the parts around. you just take the left beater holder, beater and spring off the right main pedal and put them on the left pedal.

  • hey my friend. are you satisfied with this kit. because im thinking about buy this dtxpress, but im not sure about this. could you plz tell me hows it ?

  • @IronBoundNorway pffff...I look the same when I speed up...great drumming!!!

  • @IronBoundNorway it's not sped up - watch?v=K9F4GvPJUDc

  • Nice drumming btw!!!!

  • @sabian99100, I payed $599aud (Australia) for the demon drive double pedal brand new.

  • awesome! they are fucking nice! nice drumming by the way ! greetings from germany!

  • This is sped up.

  • @MrRaspberryNutsack haha no it's not

  • @MrRaspberryNutsack no its not youre retarded

  • @MrRaspberryNutsack haha dude ur retarded its easy to burst this fast if you have been playing for a long time. dont be such a troll

  • Wow. You're future is bright in metal my friend! Awesome!

  • i wanna know how much it cost

  • What electric kit is that and how much does it cost?

  • @splicerslayer129 yamaha dtxpress iv, you'll have to find the cost in your country

  • you're an awesome player, awesome pedals, it just sounds like it's glitching when you're blasting on the cymbal... it might just be me, so idk...

  • @benthefencer3 that's just the way electronic cymbals sound, it's basically the one cymbal sound played over and over so it sound weird compared to a real cymbal which is a piece of metal

  • Dude I've looked at reviews on the internet of these pedals and all the reviews are all written by people with incredible vocabularies that makes me think that it could be someone who works for Pearl or something to trick people into buying it, so unless you work for Pearl, could you tell me your personal opinion? Do they really feel as smooth as people say?

  • @harku123 I've never used one, but all the technology and thought thats gone in to it, as well as the fact that it's direct drive, not to mention the price tag, will probably confirm any review about smoothness

  • @harku123 haha! They are smooth, they may not feel as smooth and light as axis pedals but they feel lighter to me than the DW 9000. They're well balanced. I also have a set of Eliminators which I used with the drive shaft from the DDs. That made a huge difference to the Eliminators. When used for playing more straight rock stuff (not as much fast double kick and blast beats) they don't feel as though you get as much power as with the Eliminators. Try them out, borrow some for a gig if you can.

  • You should take a shit before you play cause you might squeeze some out by accident playing drums like that.

  • guys these pedals are not worth it i bought them today and plan on returning them tomorrow ... on a real drum kit they do not hit hard enough ive played with the settings for 5 hours and nothing there a weak pedal. You can honestly get something much better for a lower price like iron cobras or dw

  • damn u are fast.

  • @aatefmagic haha you must have been in guitar center for a while! i don't agree that they are poorly made at all but they are different to axis. totally depends on your style, what you're used to etc

  • @aatefmagic they are absolutely comparable in quality to axis pedals, there are so many setup options with both pedals that it comes down to personal preference as to how good they play

  • Are these pedals comparable to axis long-boards?

  • how much?

im probably going to be dissapointed by the price :/

  • Inhuman.......amazing!

  • as much as i respect how good he is on the drums and he has technical skill....blast beats are still shit!

  • @Tobymilleruk1 thanks and thanks i guess?

  • Kit sounds like a sprinkler haha

  • Holy fuck you're good.

  • i stand corrected!

  • damn! i want some open/closed hand lessons off of you.

  • @LordNeb He doesn't play open hand once in this video. Those are blast beats.

  • Your beats in the beginning made my week.

  • Hey I notice you've got the suspension throne, how do you like it? I'm looking at getting one but haven't heard much about them…

  • Could you pleas etell me how you have adjusted your pedals? Like, all the components? I started to experiment witht he adjustments, and it ended up with me getting fucked over, been so for soon a year now, feels like i've lost it all footwise...I need something to start at..

  • is it true that they are so much smooth?

  • my mouth literally just dropped

  • I had a pair of these pedals. . . they are so much unneeded trouble.

  • ure bass pedal strokes are so perfect

  • Have you used them on a real bass drum yet? The feel and rebound are way different on a electronic trigger than on a acoustic drum. Just checking!

  • @marinesnip yes both as a double pedal and 2 single pedals on my Pearl Reference kit, not so good for straight rock but better for faster stuff, metal and punk etc

  • i almost want to accuse this of being edited. soooo clean!

  • @KRamEr7318 haha, i think it's pretty sloppy actually! no editing going on i can assure you

  • Ya anyone played on these and axis or have a useful opinion on which to get?

  • Do both pedals feel the same as two separates? Because I might just buy the double pedal and convert them into what you've done here, because

    i have 2 bass drums.

  • damn you're awesome!

  • cool, wish i could afford these but i gotta stick with some crappy ones for now.

  • you think its better than axis? cuz i'm considering either this or axis peds

  • @phoenix0225 i haven't played axis for ages, the axis might be slightly lighter but i think they are very similar, go and try some in a drum shop if you can

  • I have the same drums :)

  • What should i get Pearl demon drive or Axis AL2 Longboard????

  • Are you able to turn a Demon Drive double pedal into two single pedals? Like the axis longboards.

  • @DrumKiller2 Yes you can turn them into two seperate pedals. You can also make them left or right handed double pedals.. They're a very "custom" pedal, probably among the most adjustable pedals I've seen. I'm getting one in a few weeks, I'm left handed and asked these questions, and seen the pedal first hand. It's a damn nice set up.

  • i wish i wish that i had those pedals....

  • Could be less tense though ;)

  • its all ok... but man you cant play that pedal on electronic drums!!!

  • what kind of throne do you have? im jealous.

  • How tight do you prefer your springs? I'm not sure what would be the best to make a habit of playing on.

  • @RustyWaffle medium tension

  • @drumthumpercomau how do you change the tension?

  • @Brandonheat1 the same way you change the tension on any bass drum pedal with springs, tighten or loosen the bottom screw

  • So I was thinking of buying new pedals..

Pearl Demon Drive Or Axis Longboards?

  • u played the snare so fst i thought u sped up the tape

  • @theddogproductions its all in the wrist :)

  • what's that z custom cymbal doing in your room??? do you have an acoustic kit??

  • @AlecBFlores yes Pearl Reference, 2 bass drums, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16

  • @AlecBFlores search youtube 'Icon Of Deceit 'Embryonic' 1st ever live show' that's demon drive pedals with my stripped down reference kit, no triggers

  • wait...were you playing this heel down:O

  • @TheDoubleEagle1 heel down, heel up, wherever feels comfortable and achieves the result!

  • you almost fall off your seat everytime you play those hahah

  • hey dude i got a question, how do you think these pedals compare to the Tama Iron Cobra? i hear the demon drives have gotten some bad reviews on some sights

  • which e kit u are playing on and please tell me how much u got it for...

i have an acoustic kit but i cannot practice on it because of the noise... i really really like ur kit ..yes the playing as well...

and one more question... how did u record the output of this playing ... its really really good...

  • those drums look really nice, what kind of electric are those?

  • which is better demon drive or axis

  • @timmy67e That's for you too decide!

  • @drumthumpercomau, I was hoping you could answer a couple of questions for me:

What electronic drum kit are you using in this video? I'm looking to buy one and yours looks like it has everything I want/need.

I saw this question earlier, but how did you get the direct sound from your drum kit? I think it was something about a plugin to the audio card or something?

If you could answer those two questions for I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks and awesome vid! Keep it up!

  • @andrews1022 it's a Yamaha DTXpress IV with a second KP65 Kick Trigger.

I use an M-Audio sound card with Pro-Tools for multi track recording because i write, play and record music with guitar and bass too.

You could use something like garage band on mac too with a lead from the back of the Yamaha sound module straight to the computer.

On PC something like sonar, cubase or sound forge would work.

  • How in the world did you afford two of them things? Haha anyways nice playing. Very good timing even with the speed.

  • @itzdrake92 work very fkn hard! :O

  • blast beat sounds nice

  • WHAT CAMERA ARE YOU USING?????

  • @jonny6212 the camera isnt doing the audio if thats what you are wondering.

  • @link0867 no way would get that sound with just the camera, the audio was recorded separately and synced with imovie

  • @jonny6212 Nikon D90 Digital SLR in HD video mode

  • now i now what pedal i will buy next (=

  • just like that I play it too ;) and I Love them!!! ;)

  • test results: awesome

  • Are u using the factory settings (the setting the pedals come with) in this video?

  • @bloodredskies95 i converted to longboards but everything else is pretty much out of the box

  • @drumthumpercomau .. longboard with factory settings is wayyy toooo smooth and light for me.. cant control if it were broken 16th.. i like it shortboard.. heavier feel.. factory setting is ok but i change the spring tension a little to sooth my playing..

  • Are u using the factory settings (the settings they come with) in this video?

  • beautiful

  • Shitt should i get these or some axis pedals?

  • @spino325 get trick dominators they blow away axis and demon drives

  • should i switch from an 5-piece set to an 8-Piece set or should i buy these instead?

    grrr i hate small budgets

  • would you say these are better than axis longboards?

  • i want them so bad, are they better than axis longboards?

  • Comment removed

  • i hope de demon drives will be a little less expensive in time, cuz at this point, they dont fit into my budget :(

  • Holy shit. God you're good, I wanna hear you on acoustic drums, noticed you had a Zildjian cymbal in the corner there, haha. I'm thinkin about getting those pedals, but 650 is a shit load for pedals haha. Nice job though

  • when i tried them i didnt really like the tesion or weight of the beatter on it. i tried axis too i didnt like them that much either, guess longbords arnt for me :'(

  • Can someone fill me in on how to have two kick triggers...?

I have a roland TD-10 and I use a KD-120 that Im fond of, but the slave pedal on my DW9000 is bleh.... id like to buy a second KD-120 but what else would I need for a splitter?

  • @CGJ7755 i think the KD120 has an input so you can run it as a slave, then you assign the second kick sound in the sound module

  • @drumthumpercomau

you need to use this adapter..it works with my yamaha dtxpress..

    follow the link bellow

  • @drumthumpercomau

    sorry..there is a glitch i'll send u the link..chick out your inbox...

  • @CGJ7755

chek out your inbox..follow the link and you will know

  • whoa dude! awesome chops!!

  • chefbrandonmylesperry(dot) com

  • holy shit.

  • 天才的だ...(≧∇≦)

    (^з^)-☆Chu!!

  • i love how you have two singles on an electric kit,

  • dude i think i just shit out my brain that was beastly

  • This pedal is probably the only Pearl product I would buy from a Japanese fisherman.
