The big thing that people don't realize is that in the system we have in place now it doesn't even matter WHO you vote for. The President doesn't have the power that he used to in the 30's or previous generations. Instead of fighting over Republican vs. Democrat, why not vote on something that really matters? Like let's get rid of the electoral college, let's have a system of accountability for gov't officials. Don't give anyone the keys to the car without checking their driving record.

for earth day, i celebrated by . .

going to my local deli, purchasing as many sandwiches as possible, throwing them all in the trash, then taking those boxes and digging them deep in the earth in various ity parks. it was awesome. i felt good afterward because i knew i had done my part that day!! also took all the non-biodegradable trash from my garbage and strewn it around as many school gardens as i could find.

Obama is the "least corrupt" if you want to put it that way. Voting for him will give you a better chance of changing the government to allow things such as a chance for a third-party candidate to be President. It doesn't make sense to vote for a third-party and risk McCain becoming President when we are at a crucial point of needing someone to change the direction of this country...maybe not as much as you'd like, but Obama will change it for the better, more than the other 2 choices.
