i did dday 2010. loved it. im part of 327th GIR 101st Airborne. we kick ass. were bascily the task force of dday. we got the new scenario trenches this year. comment if u had to defend those trenches as german id like to know what it was like

Yeah I was in Big Red 1, uh 238th Mechanical (historically the guys who cleared the mines & barricades from the beach in the early attack waves). But you'll have a great time with any unit.

There is no driver mate, the thing's towed across the pond on a winch. waffleboy831:who knows why he said don't shoot at the boat. My guess is he was pissed he couldn't shoot back. Or he couldn't take the realism; the Germans shot at the Americans on the boats in the war after all.

lol nice idea I like your thinking, but we were about the 5th group to deploy on that raft the battle was already well underway. Sure there was a bit of smoke, but we weren't exactly hidden. The event is designed this way; the germans start at 100% force, allies outnumbered and being inserted gradually, as was historically the case.

oklahoma d-day is basically a huge battle between the Germans and the allies. the Two armies are split up into different divisions and companies, and sent out by the armies General to complete missions.

yeah i play airsoft and paintball both and the only difference is that airsoft hurts less and paintball has a big hopper theyre both fun. there have a nice day:)

Sure the scenario is realistic, but Paintball is not at all. Just watching guys spraying and praying makes me glad I play Airsoft MILSIM

Well Spartan, Airsoft is cool sure, but I'd wager that if you participated in an Airsoft battle with 4000 players in this proximity, you'd be "spraying and praying" too. Let's leave the Airsoft vs Paintball realism debate to other discussion boards.

when i got off that p.o.s. everybody got hit it sucked. never ride the water boat just do the stationanry boats.

They told us that we were invulnerable to hits until we cleared the first bunker, maybe they made that rule after your crew got hit? I got hit 3 or 4 times running to the bunker, and a few more times lying on the ground; the ref standing behind me kept leaning down to clean paint off my pods & legs.

VERY COOL... I played with the German 709th, we were deffending Utah Beach. Nice action, you really capture the chaos of running off teh landing craft then hiding from incoming fire. Good job.
