@RewindRecap The attachment we use is the Walky Dog bike attachment which is made for this specific use. The dogs are not worried about the bikes at all, in fact they love it!! We cycle with them at least once a week and they get very excited when they watch us get the bikes ready. I would not recommend forcing any dog to do this activity if they obviously don't enjoy it.
