  • S'alright but....if you did it in 16k it's great, otherwise...s'alright

  • Oh, this is really lovely! Both the video and the music! Thanks for creating it!

  • nice, but is there any kind of connection to primenumbers?

  • beautiful and brilliant

  • lsd anyone?

  • yes please

  • any chance to see the patches (Jitter)...btw brilliant stuff indeed..

  • thank you for your comment. It is already a while ago (3 years)and I do not know where the patches I used are....It is simple mixing of two films using filters. There is a standart patch included in Jitter which you can use.

  • Intersting :) the sound and video work good together :)

  • Hi Eddie,

to start with, please listen to the original recording, because what you hear with this one is a recording treated with electronics.

Listen to Matrix of prime numbers live.

You will find it on my playlist.

  • Hello. Could you please be as specific as possible in giving the recipe for this music. I would be massively gratefull. I think there maybe something very important here. Some comparisons must be made!

  • Hi Eddie,

what do you need to know and what do you want to compare? Thanks for your interest.

  • I would like to know what parameters you used that define the timbre, is the shape of the sound waves derived from primes? I don't really know exactly what i'm asking, but i can hear some kind of order there that i can't explain. I've wondered for a while if there are sonic equivalents to the mandelbrot set, some simple but profound function or algorithm applied to parameters like pitch, timbre, maybe wave shape, volume, etc.

  • How did you arrive at the music? I assume it is based somehow on the prime numbers.

  • hi Douglas,

thank you for your interest. Indeed, it is based on prime numbers. The matrix evolves by applying pn to harmony and rhythm. This structure of the music is based on statistics therefore.

The original performance is also available on youtube called Matrix of prime numbers live.

Harmony is organised in the same way but is based on frequency values which where later converted to pitch. 440HZ=A

I have made a new work based on pn called jazzzfrom mars. It is also on youtube.

    Cheers

  • very nice, the video goes along with it nicely=D

  • harmony of the spheres

  • now this is mathematical beauty at it's finest

  • Thank you for your comment! I am working on a string trio with the structure of prime numbers combined with harmonic multiples related to the freqency the rotation of the earth produces.

    Best wishes

  • Actually, that is some great work. Congrats, and my hairy ballsack is shaved and worrisome.

  • Don't worry, be happy

  • We beat your asses in WWII, and your cheesy computer fantacy space ride can't upset my hairy ballsack.

  • I felt like I was going to have a seizure or something. lol very cool though.

  • Hi, thanks for watching. I work on music which can heal illnesses, maybe soon I will be able to help..

  • in the tradition of fauve and expressionism both russian and german and then american... very poetic stuff... very very nice

  • Thank you for posting this!! It rescued me because my wife has just blamed me for not being poetic enough....

    Thanks

  • what's the matter with you wife? does she need to take acid to appreciate poetic use of colors?? maybe you should make love to her, that usually helps them appreciate self-involved artists. is she an artist too??

  • ...reminds me ....way back in time.... - on some lil.. bitter tasting stamps on my tongue...

  • trippy

  • What an experience! Like a dream David Lynch might see falling asleep while reading Carl Sagan.

  • Yeah, I like it.
