i did something similar to this with a cfl grow but i let the plant grow for lots of months, and plenty of flowering time and i still cut it down before it was ready for the simple fact that it grew 9 months!!! at least i got a half pound in weight tho. but it was lightweight strength of weed, i bet if it would grew more shit i would got close to a pound. High sativa so thats prolly why it took so long

At 250W his bill wouldn't change so much. Say you pay $0.10 for a kilowatt hour (1000W used over an hour period). That would work out to $0.025 per hour to run that light. For a 12/12 flowering light cycle thats $9 per month (12 x 0.025 x 30). Not bad eh. Check your electricity bill for what you are being charged for a kWh.

gotta start slow. get a ppm meter. parts per million. start at 50 or so and work to 600- 800 for vegetation and a max of 12 - 1300 for flowering being sure to stop a week or so before harvest. also tap water adds about 250 on the meter so keep this in mind. If they burn cut back a little, they will react fast

e-conolight is where i got my 150 industrial hps light its ghetto but its ez to seperate the ballast and bulb just need a electrical box and its only 43$. And 115$ for a 400 and you could get a glass tube used for candles at walmart or homedepot and make it air cooled.Save yourself a couple hundred

@Icrownholder high pressure sodium with a blue spectrum works the best tho. because the high pressure sodium is mostly red spectrum anyway, so by getting the one with the blue spectrum, it starts out a really blue color but when it heats up it turns totally red. although both would work almost just as good, the blue specs make them grow healthier because it is closer to natural sunlight that emits many different spectrums of light. just my opinion. the more spectrums of light the better.

Damn, I had a tree like that, with AK-47 Buds.

And instead of lemon for rooting, I used orange juice. Not the kind from bottles, but squeezed. It helped the rooting alot, but I think the lemon would have set in better.

I wouldn't worry if under 2000 watts. If your over that then just pay your electricity bill on time. You can usually grow 1000 watts per bedroom. 4 bedroom, 4000 watts would be cool.
