It's your opinion, V1etCong but you should know the history of the song you quoted. Tieng Goi Thanh Nien (A Call to Youth) is a great song by Luu Huu Phuoc and he wrote it in the early 1940's as a revolutionary anthem, appealing to the youth of Vietnam to rise up against the Japanese and the French. It was not written for the Bao Dai regime that hijacked the song and made it into the national anthem of the puppet, French-created "State of Vietnam" in 1949.
The successive American-sponsored Soth Vietnamese regimes kept it as their anthem but it is now just a memory. The national anthem of Vietnam that's played all over the world at state ceremonies is Tien Quan Ca, the song that's sung in this video.

It's your opinion, V1etCong but you should know the history of the song you quoted. Tieng Goi Thanh Nien (A Call to Youth) is a great song by Luu Huu Phuoc and he wrote it in the early 1940's as a revolutionary anthem, appealing to the youth of Vietnam to rise up against the Japanese and the French. It was not written for the Bao Dai regime that hijacked the song and made it into the national anthem of the puppet, French-created "State of Vietnam" in 1949.

The successive American-sponsored Soth Vietnamese regimes kept it as their anthem but it is now just a memory. The national anthem of Vietnam that's played all over the world at state ceremonies is Tien Quan Ca, the song that's sung in this video.

DHL1958: The red flag with a large gold star in the center of Vietnam was adopted in 1945. The red flag with five smaller gold stars at the upper left hand corner of China was not adaopted until 1949. Therefore, it's more correct to say the Chinese flag is a version of the Vietnamese flag.

What we know for certain is that the Saigon government was a creation of the US and collapsed as soon as the US reduced its support. The Hanoi government is still in existence even after the total collapse of the Soviet Union and a war against China in 1979.

Tom3605: If the (poor) North VN did not invaded the (rich) South VN and stayed at its post, 2 million North vietnamese and 1million South vietnamese would be killed. The US lost their battle at their own land, and absolutely not due to the fighting with VC. The US only lost 50 thousand vs North VN lost 2 millions. It's not a milliarty "victory"!

Tom3605: For a simple fact, why do you have to twist the histories? Vietnam's flag was adopted by North Vietnam on November 30, 1955; it was adopted in what had been South Vietnam on July 3, 1976 after the fall of Saigon. China was officially adopted on October 1, 1949.

Yeuquehuong Soviet-Mao & Stalin followed Marx-Leninist and HO followed Maoist & Stalinist. Do you know after 1959, North Korea did some favors for Soviet or China ? and you need to make sure that the VN history books you've learn should not be written by the communists because those contained a political "BIAS" information.

Tom3605: Again, why do you have to twist the histories? The old version of the red flag used between 1945-1955 was for the revolutionary of Vietminh and for China PLA used their old version of their flag since August 1927. The VN flag still is a copy of the China's flag.
