actually i think the audience was having a blast with him. hes one of those guys that when he's about to say something u wait in anticipation cause u know its going to be really clever and hilarious. he delivers every line beautifuly
@PaulJuliusSokoloff There's a difference between getting a joke and finding it funny. I'm a "Yank" and I got the joke immediately, but it just didn't come off as funny for some reason. Humor is a difficult thing to explain and if you even try to explain it, then it won't be funny anymore.
@yurismir1 If you listen to the 2 or 3 that laugh out loud (the few that git the joke), it proves that it went above most people's heads, including Letterman.
If you are a Cleese fan, you know he hates the weather in Britian and makes fun of it, especially in Faulty Towers.
he should have introduced him as john motherfucking cleese

This is the first video on youtube when I really feel pity about not speaking English well. Or something like that...

Uh,, 'at the end of the 5 days, there's very often a DRAW (stalemate)' not tie. Ties are extremely rare,
One day cricket is about 7 hours and more recently there is a 2 hour game called Twenty20.

@luizcadu Yeah, it will be.. its basically python humour, really silly and random. I.e. pruning hedgehogs and crucifying gerbils.
