I am a pretty good valid question from a pilots point of view;

When he extends his arms away from his body and he's gliding down, doesn't all the wind want to push his arms back towards his sides, man try lifting your arms up from your sides while someone tries to keep them close to your body simulating what the wind would be doing at that speed, surprised his arms don't get tired, ; maybe they do!!

I don't think so. Because he's falling so i believe the force of the wind is pushing up on the wings and causing him to glide. Its the same when people parachoot and have their arms out like that the wind doesnt pull their arms all the way to their back and break their bones/dislocate their sholders. atleast thats the way i see it.

One of the numerous things I'm gonna have to do before I die.  Suggestion: extend your= legs with stilts and do something similar with the arms. More length, more wing area, farther gliding? It would be cool to have something like a hang glider suit, very much like being a bird.

Geez, this is crazy! I have watched this video several times and I am still amazed by it; real flight covering miles of horizontal space (not just vertical) with just a winged suit. In conventional sky-diving they drop like a rock with only the illusion of flying; this is something altogether different as they are able to get as low as 15 feet off the ground and then still glide to a level high enough to open their chute.
