The sitar is played by a keyboard...the track could have been a lot better if it was played in an original sitar...an also with authentic tabla rhythm...
if you like indian music, check out 'motherjane' hard rock band from south India, they plays classic carnatic riffs with heavy guitar, real heavy songs.
love this tune, its really cool thanks for sharing it, as id never have heard it otherwise i like indian music to iv got a lot on my computer not as much as Native American music of course but i do like like
I love the Sitar, and Indian music in general. And Tablas a awesome, too! The song ONE by Metallica I do not know, but I loke this cover. The sitar might be a touch more in trhe foregroud, but still, it's okay.
There are two brilliant covers of NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, too - ony by Apocalyptica, and also an awesome a cappella version by Audiofeels ... both must-see :-)!
This actually reminds me of much of the Beatles music from their album Revolver. George Harrison was into meditation and many of their songs during this time reflected that
Wow man. This is really good.
