I think this interview just shows how dana loves marketing and making money more than he loves mma, pride has got the guts to go all out and make the best out of mma. Sure they made mistakes, but look at the tournaments they hold the match ups they put on and the amazing production that goes into eveything they do. Just imagine where mma would be in the next five years under prides leadership not under the ufcs.

Rampage beat Liddell in PrideFC, so he wasn't exactly getting his ass beat all the time. Rampage didn't beat Liddell easily the 2nd time either. He just got in a good punch. It could've happened in the 2nd or 3rd round exactly the same way but people wouldn't call a 3rd round KO "easy". Dana White does a great job at running UFC because he really understands it. I think this interview just shows how dana loves marketing and making money more than he loves mma, pride has got the guts to go all out and make the best out of mma. Sure they made mistakes, but look at the tournaments they hold the match ups they put on and the amazing production that goes into eveything they do. Just imagine where mma would be in the next five years under prides leadership not under the ufcs.
I'm sure dana will do a good job though just without the flare and imagination.
