MrPozzoz, if you say that again, I will hunt you down and fucking murder you. The Pogues are the best band ever and I like this, otherwise I wouldn't be listening to it, but please, respect the Pogues. They rule.
Cad ina thaobh nach bhuil nios mor don fear seo ar Youtube? Rinneadh scannan ina thaobh roinnt bliana o shin dar b'ainm "Sing the dark away." B'fheidir go bhuil coip ag duine eigin a bheadh tuillteanach e a chuir ar an lion.
Joe Einiu was from Ard East near Carna in the Connemara Gaeltacht, Galway. Carna was famous as perhaps the foremost location in Europe for folklore and a centre of sean nos singing. Sad to say the old ways have withered there as times have improved. Seamus Ennis described the area as a treasure trove for a folklorist.
This is a great clip. I saw Seosamh O HEanai in Newport Rhode Island in 1966 and heard him sing this song. Hope you can find a clip of Roisin Dubh--one of his greatest songs.

Does anyone know where I can find some sean-nós songs to learn? I'm looking all over but I can't find any.
