Im a country music 'purist' and I think it's alright if Snoop wants to show respect for country music, he's respected in his field of music, so this is'nt the end of the world,so calm the fuck down,the new country music I'm hearing lately is all fucked up watered down pop. you guys should'nt even be watching CMT.

I know the country music purists are offended, but I'm actually glad to see country music attracting the likes of Snoop Dogg, Bobby Brown, and Sisqo. I've been a country music fan my entire life, and it's nice to see country getting some mainstream recognition.

I am so tired of people, especially on YouTube, that always announce "I like all music except country." In my opinion, the people that say that are more ignorant than the music they're slamming.

Since when is country not a mainstream type of music.... you have your own categories in the music Awards and your own large awards event..... In hip hop they only have the Source awards which are kinda bunk. Country is radio friendy whereas hip hop you have to pick and choose (or be forced to create bubble gum records by the man) tracks for the radio. Not pickin a fight here but Counry is as mainstream as it gets.... I believe Garth Brooks has sold more records then anyone in Rap.
