@sydneyfc - I have one in black, mines a 1988. There were more than 6 made. I believe around 387 in USA config with the 300hp and 100 or so in the 330hp euro spec.

I would have to say "do the time", get the Porsche. I have lusted after this 930 since I was 7 years old. I bought an '88 just over a year ago. As good as it looks and sounds as a by-stander, driving one will actually show you what a true sports car is. I had high expectations when I bought mine, she has delivered. It really is a wonderful car. Don't expect a Lexus ride. She is a mean, snarling, Little Bitch that demands your total attention. Like a woman, drive her right,responds perfectly!

I own a coupe, never seen a true Targa 930. Very rare I think. Not a big fan of the Targas. It looks good with the fat ass, 930 rear quarter panels. Who am I kidding, all 930's, Coupe, Targa, or Cabriolet Look amazing.

that is not a turbo look but infact a 930 turbo targa. yes they were produced from the factory but were not made in large numbers as they targas were flexible flyers in normally aspirated configuration...add the blower and they were not for everyone. you can actually hear the tell tale exhaust popping as he lets off the gas when entering the corner. not very loud so likely a stock exhaust.

indeed you can actually see some of that flexing, go to the rear view shot from the passengers side and you can see the Targa bar jabber side to side and its not due to the camera movement ...

If I opted for a Turbo it would be a coupe with reinforcements(roll cage ect..). A Targa or a Cab is not suited for the kind of power a true Turbo can deliver but is more for flash.
