Problem with games like these is they're always released when people are waiting for a different game. I wouldn't mind seeing this remade or sequelled as a LATE-CYCLE 3DS release, but I wouldn't want to see HAL laboratories announce this while the world is waiting for Persona 3DS and Tales of the Abyss 3DS and maybe even Smash Bros. 3DS and Pokémon 3DS.

But that's probably why it sounds the way it does. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but "ahead of its time" is close enough. :)

It also explains why in Brawl's sound test, most of the Air Ride songs credit not only Hal Labs & co., but Warpstar Inc. and some of the anime soundtrack composers.

I think there was a game that featured more than Kirby and Keeby (the name the yellow Kirby's often given, dunno if it's fanmade or canon), but plotwise it was cloned? Don't remember.
