@Beinggreatfull It was after his family were killed and the swordmaster took him in. Some people needed help and his master forbade him so he became a Ronin and wandered the land protecting the weak. That's until he ended up on someones pay role as an unknowing clan assassin thinking he was doing the right thing.

Truth is as TsukoChan said that this is not the ending that Nobuhiro Watsuki deemed good for Kenshin. Still considering the fact that he himself drew Kenshin retiring and giving his Sakabato to Yahiko means that he would no longer fight again. So through Watsuki's work we know that Kenshin wouldn't die in a swordfight...

Well i kind of agree with you but then again like naomi said, you see this incredible person that cant be defeated, while all i see medicly is someone who has higher than avarage abilities, but each battle like this shaves off his life, now i think in the movie if they had someone newer and kenshin was a bit older perhaps a few more scars whatever that showed his age and naomi explained it then maybe not so much, either way i dont think kenshin deserved to die like that. he was way too cool

Basically, Rurouni Kenshin came out first and then they decided to bring out some OVA's of his past, the first 5 are pre-RK and the second are Post-RK. In non anime-speaking context, watch the first 5, then watch Rurouni Kenshin, then watch the last two, in that order you'll get the whole shebang. x] If you're still confused just ask again, i don't mind.

There are Trust and Betrayal, which are usually found combined into one film, 'Trust and Betrayal - Director's Cut'. There's also 'Samurai X - the Movie' which is similar to a very long episode, then there's 'Reflections' which takes place after the episodes (mostly). Trust and Betrayal and Reflections are exceptionally good.

I really like it. It was a good vid. The song fits Kenshin real well, but you skipped from the end of Kenshin's manslaying days to near the end of the series, and then skipped back. I think it would have been better if you had played it out a bit more, but it was still awesome.
