This was a hard song for her to sing live because she had recorded it in a high key for her which sounded good on the cd, but singing it every night on tour was most likely next to impossible. It was recorded in the key of C then I saw on later videos that she changed it to D and then at live 8 she lowered it even still to A. but that's saying anything against her, shes great. But all singers usually when they get older will lower the key of their songs so they don't wear out their voice.

I remember sitting on my couch when i was two years old watching this live and i told my mom that, "she sings awful" and now that i'm watching all her other performances she usually sounds good so i don't know what happened here. love this song though! :)

In general, there was something wrong with her live performances during the Ray of Light era, I think she was adjusting to a different way of singing after the Evita.

Oh... Madonna did a very good performance of this song in the early part of 1998 in the Ophra show, but its incredible: in 2:27 she takes the high tone very brilliant, but she fails in the normal sound spectrum!
