Try searching with Google on "Q2", "Torsen", "147 JTD".
Q2 is a Torsen LSD (Limited Slip Differential) that was fitted to some 147 & GT's. It also fits every 6-speed Alfa transmission, so GTA, 156V6, etc. Helps to transfer most of the power to the outer wheel while cornering. That's were the grip is, so you wan't max. power on that wheel.
Fully explaining an LSD would take to long. Try Google !!

One question, is the Q2 diff. worth the money, i have a 156 jtd 16v with -50mm novitec cup suspesion, but i would still like it to be more tight in turn in, so how do you like it on yours?
It's just to keep the car in one piece just a bit longer. If it's just one lap, no problem, but lap after lap after lap... It's an Alfa, it breaks easily. ;-)
Alfa' motor sound like a Symphony of Beethooven in Deutschland. Villeich der Alfa ist ein GTA oder einer Race Car, weil der sound von Getriebe laut so. Ich glaube, dass der nicht einer Standard Auto ist, ausserdem fahrt so schnell.

Q2 is VERY intering upgarde to your 156 !
(Actually: I am the driver in this lap ;) so thanks for the compliment)
Alfa 156 has very good handling. Adding the Eibach anti-roll bars and a Q2 diff makes is even better !

Q2 is a standard Alfa spare part. It fits in every 6 speed gearbox Alfa (diesel and petrol) and is pretty cheap. Check Alfaowner forum for details.
