This is off the public beach just north of town. There is an artificial reef straight out from the beach about 100 yards. Then the ship wrecks are out past that another 50 yards or so.

Because technically it is NOT in the national park. The national park stops at Puerta Maya.
However, just recently, the port capitan has declared this a no spearing zone.
