Is Monrovia safe for foreign workers? My father is traveling there fir work for awhile and I'm just wondering. I don't mean to offend just want to know because I hate him traveling for a long time..thanks :)

@makkool welcome....... some people don't want development to come to Liberia, They don't have since enough to know that even in countries like America and England there are a lots of foreigners that own very large company's and they bring in a lot of jobs and opportunity... there's no way Liberia can move out of poverty by saying only a Liberian can own and operate a business in Liberia..... foreigners don't make countries poor there own governments that steal all the moneys do!!
@blk24ga Brother 100% correct I had to school marc224 about this.To many Liberians think the oil and minerals are going to develop Liberia.Liberia needs to even change its land ownership laws which is outdated.The same people who talk about the oppression of the settlers keep that provision of the settlers in the constitution when it suits their needs.Liberia needs the Pan African world to move forward.
