  • the movie got removed

  • @dj52100 Yeah, but you can watch it if you go to my main website (morganstudios d0t c_0m) under movies scored. or dragonflickz d0t_c_0m.

  • I think I heard the same exact chord that MAC uses for it's alert in the beginning, I thought that one of my programs quit or something... lol

  • 0:33

  • lol sorry, just marcato string basses. Common sound in film type music.

  • Quite epic, Scott--very well done. :)

I think you made good choices re: the direction you took this track.

  • thx man, I did have a few concerns about it, like overdistorting the beginning, or the fast percussion being too typical of a FPS game or something ^^

  • Do you write music for games also? It would be fine to have a great music for my Crysis mod. However I cant pay for it, but if you'd like to compose something please pm me. For me would be a little impovisation also good enough.

  • While I already commented on the actual movie itself... I just thought I'd re-emphasize here that your music was great throughout - especially "Future Sword" at the end. Such a pity that song could've never been used in the series.

I look forward to hearing your future compositions. =)

  • yeah, future sword seemed to fit it really well.

its not bad that you used vegetas theme but it would be better if you could say youve done all the music for them movie.

  • well the goal was to sound like a Faulconer Productions score, so when it comes to themes I actually plan to do what makes sense and in that case the Vegeta Theme made more sense to me than writing anything new. I think it has more impact that way. In part one I used the Piccolo Theme (A little Help From a Friend) for Piccolo's entrance because I thought it was most appropriate. I also used "Home Sweet Home" cause that's basically the home theme. Everything else was original.

  • Btw a pet peeve of mine is when a new composer takes on an old franchise and doesn't use the themes the previous composer wrote...especially when those themse are iconic. Perfect example is Elfman's Batman theme. I was shocked when it disapeared =\ All for the sake of being original I guess...(and made worse by the fact that they didn't replace it with something memorable)

  • yeah i know what you mean. its better this way then

  • It was a reboot, it was to be expected.

Terminator Salvation didn't have that excuse...

  • I'm talking about before the reboot, can't remember which film exactly but pre Batman Begins.

  • this is amazing. its even better that the far west one.

cant wait until it comes out

  • Thanks :) The movie is already up on Trixen's page. Both tracks are on Soundclick.

  • what the whole movie?

    ill have a look.

im about to start on my new goma animation, hope you dont mind if i use somemore shrubbery od darkness tracks?

  • no just part 2 (second 10 minutes). Go for it man, just credit me :)

  • i saw it. it was amazing. shame they didnt use dark prince instead of vegetas old theme but oh well.

    thanks, i will :)

  • Oh for the little clip at the end? Yeah I thought the original suited it best I guess. The slow part in Dark Prince is supposed to symobolize his death, too sad I think. That Vegeta theme bit was the only clip from the Faulconer Productions library in part2 ^^ I got a little tired at the end hehe started taking shortcuts. I used Future's Sword as well which saved me a lot of time.

  • man this awesome, I glad I'm a fan of DBZ and music.

  • u should make music over dragonball evolution..i would like to see how that turns out

  • To me it's meh, nice effort though

  • Dude, that's epic!

  • Really amazing man! BTW, I've been talking to trixen about doing Part 3.

  • something about operatic voices makes music so awesome.

  • I love this piece of music, it makes our video awesome, your truely amazing man, and I love your gift at your craft!

  • nice as always:)

  • Nice...I love the way you changed they styles.
