  • This song is hot!

  • luv expose

  • Growing up in the Lower East Side this song "brings back those memories" from club hopping to just driving and listening to freestyle. Remembering the 1018 and Palladium days when freestyle was on top of its game....Still loving it!

  • I'm also happy to be an 80's baby and grow up to this music! What a great world, where women could sing, dance and look sexy WITH CLOTHES ON!

  • This video was about the time I saw them back in 1987 when they opened up for Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, I think it was the Exposure tour. This group live can make almost anyone who says they don't dance suddenly start. The people in the crowd that couldn't dance were trying to dance anyway. It was kinda funny.

  • @6801ls350 I saw the same show in Baltimore and it was fanfuckingtastic!

  • Miami music!

  • They were one of the acts for our Gradnight in Disneyland in June of 1988 they were grate.

  • Great club song...brings back my single days! lol

  • Back in the day they dared to be deferent and thats why I loved them I'm 45 and they still the the shit

  • This was 25 years ago....Jesus. Where does the time go?

  • As far as music goes, no decade will ever come close to matching what the 80's did for music!

  • My poor parents, putting up with my playing this 12" vinyl loud in my room at 16 or whenever.

  • Awesome video, wonderful memories!!!!!

  • I remember 21 years ago my mom listened to expose all the time, dam I miss the good old days!! I can't fucking stand todays music, I just wanna tell today's singers to shut the hell up! If only I can go back in time!!!

  • i heard they used to have some backstage brawls with eachother - especially right before the filming of this video -i remember the video host said thats the reason they are wearing so much makeup powder to cover up all the scratches and bruises - anyone else ever hear that? oh the music was still cool :)

  • i could listin to this song over and over i swear

  • PRIME AND TENDER in CHICAGO!!!

  • @BillyJoQuinnAguilar wow expose was all over the airwaves in chicago. No matter where I went the song was banging out of everyones speakers.

  • It's not the artists and their voices who have changed. It's the change of technology that has advanced music.

  • I like new music. I don't understand why so many who like the old music have to hate the new music. Tbh, I like it all. I even listen to some of the big band out of the 40's. I've started listening to Johnny Cash some, and I've never cared for country. Lately, for some reason, I've started liking some of it.

But whatever. I would just encourage you all to keep an open mind about all music and not have to hate it. Ever looked up Christina Aguilera? Fairly new and can SING.

  • @Felegund1 It's not that I hate new music. I like Christina and Britney, but the music I grew up on has a nostalgia for me that Britney and Christina and Kelly and all the new artists don't have for me. It's why I prefer it more, but I certainly don't HATE new music. I just love nostalgia.

  • Oh Man, I remember How The Clubs Always had An Act! And it Was Always Some Hot Freestyle!!! It Was great Being A Teen In That Era!!!

  • How fun it can be sometimes? i was just listening to my oldmusic cassettewith recorded music from 80-85 and just found this disco song?? At first it sound like it was one of Madonnas earlyer songs from her debut albums, then when i made a search by the song tittle then I saw it was this teenage girl group! I must say I dont recall of have any memories of this group? maybe it was one of these like many others " on hit wonder" ?

  • who remembers L'AMOUR EAST on Queens Boulevard, Queens, NYC (1985-1987)? They used to have Teen Night (13 yrs old and up) once a month on Fridays (no alcohol). Parents waited outside, (or inside watching their daughters ;o)

  • Those were some cute 80's clothes and I actually had the dress that the brunette is wearing @2:17.

  • I agree with lilrican today's music sucks. I've tried listening to all that crap. Nothing like kool rock steady ,fast Eddie, Hiphouse not Hiphop, I could go on and on. Latin freestyle for life best music every.

  • Mmm, dancing with girls that often looked like this. I miss the beats, the big hair, the clothes, and my ability to dance for six hours straight!

  • there is nothing today that compares to 80's dance music

  • I rocked the dance floor to this song back in 1987

  • first time i heard this was a danceclub in san juan, peurto rico loved it ever since

  • Brings back plenty of good memories,,Ty

  • Ahhhh! The days of being a senior in high school!

  • I rushed to the store and bought the cassette of this album in Feb 1987 when this song first entered the top 40 - one of my favorite songs of all time !! I thought Gioia was so hot ! LOL

  • Freaking Love this song, Cheers for uploading this great piece. So glad I heard it on the radio again :)

  • When I was a kid we had the club on fridays right after school. We would get on a bus that would bring us to Great Skate. We would be there for hours skating to this and Expose, Cover Girls, ect, chasing girls, ect. God that was fun. I forgot all about Great Skate.

  • That blonde girl had a faux hawk !!!!! Lol

  • Gotta love that era !!!!

  • all work & no play makes jane a dull gal ..u go expose... brings back d memories ; )

  • One of my alltime favorites!!!!! Long live EXPOSE!!!!!!!!

  • L O V E this song

  • Saw Expose at freestyle explosion here in LA earlier this year.... They still got it!!! Expose, Cover Girls, and LIsa LIsa were the top performers....

  • IF I WOULDA KNOWN IT WAS GONNA BE THIS BAD IN THE 2000S,I WOULDA PREPARED MYSELF I LIL BETTER

  • @jamesbond504 lmao........ No doubt man! Although, I saved a lot of my tapes & CDs and so I have references to get songs for my Ipod and that's pretty much all I listen to.

  • One of the forgotten girl groups of the 80's, Exposè pumped out a number of tracks that are among my favorites from the 80's. They went through a lineup change when Gioya Bruno (I forgot how to spell her first name, sorry) was replaced with Kelly Moneymaker. They were able to harmonize better with Kelly in Gioya's place, but eked out just 2 hits in the early 90's before disappearing from the music scene.

  • the dj played this song every night. i would show up early so i could have the dance floor to myself. the guys thought i was either drunk or crazy. they were right on both counts. first there was the key change, then they went up an octave. i tore the roof off the m'fer.

  • Real talent thy name is Expose

  • damn,, BIG HAIR days.. gotta love the 80's

  • The 1970s had Disco.. and then the 1980s had new wave and punk and all kinds of different music fusions. The 90s had a mix but once we got into the 21st century the good music to move to.. stopped...

  • I was and I DID! This is one of the most enduring songs of the 80's Freestyle dance craze! @aalex: ABSOLUTELY!

  • azu e l disc de los 80s

  • good song

  • another 80s pop to be sampled

  • I remember when I heard this song >I imagine that she was singingt it to me I love her voice

where is not such a time like 1987

  • They were playing this at the grocery store today. I'm all singing loud down the aisle. Fake microphone. Hand across the face.

  • sweet guitar riffs and the melody of the music and perfect lyrics cmon man they cant even reproduce these type of songs if they tried!

  • Like this song...good ol' 80's music. I also work very hard and barely any play.

  • Damn music today dont compare to the freestyle of the 80's

  • I've been youtubing them alot lately. Forgot they had so many hits. They need to come back!

  • @jnav1980 they are back

  • stop saying wish i was there. you can be there now ,bring it back you have the power, how? request it , play it , get it , this time help make it main stream. cause this water down hip sh?t sounds that like old skool hip house garbage. 2 days music really does suck. wayne , jon , bull etc. even lady gaga! black eye pea's1 sing shit don't rap, i miss listen to the radio in the 80's and med 90's best music and times

  • @lilrican1971 I live in Los Angeles, And the best shit is when i took my wife to this club called Quiet Canon and they had this mini concert featuring Stevie B & Trinere Johnny O & more live performances, Brought back soo many good times, Yup The rap shit on the radio is played out....

  • Can you imagine being in a night club in the 1980's and hearing this tune as the dance floor fills with people? I can, I did, I do. I lived and loved it.

  • @007jimmymac Yessir!! Me Too!! Remember how the dance floor would get so full that it'd spill out into the lounge area. People would be dancing among the tables and chairs. Great Times!

  • @007jimmymac Hell , the dances we had at junior college everytime this was played there was not even room for an ant on the dance floor .

  • One the best Expose songs along with "Point of No Return".

  • @Heegoop Yes indeed! I saw & heard this in my favourite dance club in 1987. Good to see it again!

  • @SnowbirdFlock That's awesome but however Expose was not strictly a club act. They were actually played a lot on pop radio back in their prime. And this song here was their first hit on the pop charts and by April 1987 it peaked at #5 on the charts. So Expose really got a good start for 1987 and they should of gotten the Best New Artist Grammy.
