Please reply, Im thinking of getting the C7 truck for my 42.5 inch longboard. I dont feel like waiting until I can get a carver skateboard so do you reckon I should, would it really make my board feel more like a surfboard? cheers
@Pagra101 I have tried putting the C7 on a smaller 32" board and I was somehow surprised to find out that I prefer it on the 42" deck. I guess it's a question of radius - where a longer wheelbase makes the turning feel more like the one of a snowboard (I am unfortunately not a big surfer so I can't really tell you precisely how that might be). Hope this helps
@DTSkateProductions1: The deck is bouncy but not too much, and for me the flex is spot on... but then I guess that depends a bit on your weight (I am like 72kg). For the rest, I would say it's not the best board you could find as a complete set, but definitely good value-for-money considering the really low price tag. You'll probably want to invest a bit of extra cash in other bits and pieces (e.g. bushings, trucks, wheels) to make it work for your riding style.
@afriasdelrio: With the standard trucks provided on the Mindless Hunter, the ride is not great. But it really becomes very smooth after you mount the Carver C7s, as they really help you get much easier turns and better radius. Basically, as soon as you get those you tend to forget you'r on a 44 inch board... it feels almost as agile as if you had a good 10 inches less.
@Jordanebanks: It's probably not the fastest board out there, but it's good enough for me
