  • Guys what the fuck? I thought Brits are pretty well educated! Plane is Ukrainian, not Russian. Operated not by Russian pilots, but Ukrainian. Is that hard to remember??? Cheers.

  • THAT'S A PLANE!!

  • Geordie.

  • looks like a giant monster...

  • the roonwaay lengf is 2 thousand eighty two ninety two meters...

  • and we loved it!

  • probably contributed to the UK island to sink a bit faster.

  • 1:34 best smirk ever!!! XD

  • Ugly cocpit.

  • and then i get further down the comments and see its already been stated sorry

  • @mychemicalparty and the sprucegoose was bigger than em all....................nvm

  • didnt know jim royal did commentary on aircraft videos

  • but isn't it the oldest? no digital displays

  • When it left the control tower said "Permission to take off denied due to fog"

The Russian pilot then said "Sorry we leave now" then revved up and took off. The guys flying/working that plane around the workd are the last real cowboys left, True story.

  • Did you see sparkles when the front landing gear touched the ground?

  • To people arguing about which plane is bigger, it's a dumb comparison. Building the biggest plane in the world is not an impossible feat for any nation with the means. But you have to be creative in finding a use for it. The Mriya is contracted to handle various things worldwide, not only for Russia or Ukraine. That's how it stays busy - and relevant. There are about three other planes in the world which compare in total size. But the AN-225 is not so much big, as it is heavy lifting.

  • I ain't getting anywhere near that fucker. I stand the wrong way I'm getting sucked right into those engines - fuck that.

  • I remember seeing a Volga-Dnepr aircraft at Bagram AB while in Afghanistan and thinking THAT was big, but jeez look at this bad boy.

  • one word.................awesome

  • wow dude

  • the 225 is a wild bitch.

  • Damn that plane got so many damn wheels

  • lol at the nerds arguing

  • @Q3ToPBuZz ROFL! Funny reading through all of them XD

Imaging piloting that thing, though... Would be so fun and challenging

  • Can the A380 PARK 3 T75s in its hold...... No? the AN225 can :)

  • noobs the an225 is way bigger than the a380! about 13 meters!

  • Cockpit needs a serious makeover ASAP

  • No the a380 is not bigger the a380 is the biggest passenger plane the an 225 is just the biggest.

  • the airbus a380 is biger tham that

  • as grand as owt tha nose

  • HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGEE

  • @lectar15

    That's what she said..

  • @towjumper ahahahah

    dude i owe you a beer :D

  • Sorry guys, the largest airplane is still the Spruce Goose, or H-4 Hercules, built and flown by Howard Hughes.

  • @stetsonwalker , but it only just left the water, it was more like an akranoplan

  • @bigchiefmingingbolok But it did fy in the genuine sense of the word! It few farther than the Wright brothers!

  • @stetsonwalker you are joking right? ( maybe wing span but that about it ) the 225 is way way bigger

  • @hy150769 No, check it out the Goose was larger...

  • @stetsonwalker only in wingspan and this plane actually has longer wings but they are just drawn back for better fuel economy so they arent as wide

this plane is taller longer and much much heavier than the goose

  • @titykaka1 Historically planes were judged largest by wingspan. Also the goose has the greatest overall height. Check Wikipedia on Antonov An-225

  • damn thats a big ass plane

  • Just wow :)

  • i hope the an 255 is available for the next flight simulator

  • @fredferguison they have one, its all freeware. i forgot the link but just look it up on google or somethiing. its this color (and one with the russain space shuttlle). it has an interior, great sounds and its juust a beast

  • @fredferguison next joke..get it?

  • i ve u see this giants landing it looks like they were very slowly so search at google boeing x 33 it s a supersonic aircraft mach 3!!!!! prototype

  • a little joke to see whether all of u are still awake

  • LOL, that was old instrumets, it looked like a DC-3 inside, but still a beauty.

  • The world biggest plane is an An-255 not an An-225

  • @fredferguison The An-255 does not exist :)

  • @fredferguison umm, what do you mean?

  • @fredferguison its AN-225 xD

  • They do also land at MOD Boscombe Down from time to time or so i understand (it may have been the smaller one i couldn't really tell i was kinda in shock from the shear scale and noise of what it was

  • @redherringrfc The smaller one your refering to is the AN-124

  • how the hell does that get in the air o.O

  • World's largest aircraft ever built in terms of length and weight. The Spruce goose has a larger wing span.

  • The wrongest thing the russians did when thay was the soviet union is educate the prople of ukrain.

  • @sitdownponit123 nazi detected? if you don't know history - just shut your mouth

  • @zergussino You could suck my balls bitch

  • @sitdownponit123 You have balls o_O? Mwahaha. Such shitheads don't have balls. They're have shit only.

    Sorry.

  • What an AirCraft, this was a fantastic day for the Airport,

Antonov 225 Mriya the biggest plane in the world

    martin.

  • what a beast ! Excellent !

  • i dont understand why they re-peinted the antonov

  • @brage4 this is ukrainian colour theme...

  • @piclabtec but they srtil re-pailted it. tere are only one an225 in the world

  • in theory this is a bit pointless as its so big that it can only land in certain places ? ie. like 10 places in the world ?

  • @scotty206, I'd guess more than 10. I saw one at an air base in North Bay, Ontario, Canada a few years ago. Apparently it was delivering pipe line equipment.
